Beverly at how sweet the sound hosts Pink Saturday. If you'd like to jump on the bandwagon, click on the pink lady to the left. Here's what I've found to share with you this week.
Living in South Florida, it's not unusual to see a pink house. Here's one not too far from where I live. Notice please: the roof is pink, the house is pink, the trim is pink, even the pavers in the driveway are pink. I think it's beautiful and a perfect color for South Florida living.
I thought I'd include a couple of pictures of our pink crape myrtle tree in our backyard. These shots were taken the end of June; the tree was spectacular this year.
Thursday I hit post number 100. Keeping with the custom of Blogland, I have a giveaway. Check it out.
Your pictures make me homesick. The house we lived in when I was a teenager was pink, but our tile roof was white.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday.
And, go Dolphins!!!
How fun would it be to live in pink house! Great post. :)

ReplyDeleteNow, isn't that something about the tern 'what nots'. I'm from the deep south, Alabama, as well as my family. I have done some genealogy searching and have most coming from Virginia and then to the south. I love the term any way, but Sally, I ain't no Yankee!! You know I love ya!!
Be a Pink sweetie,
Shelia
I think crepe myrtle is the best tree ever. Aren't pink houses something else?

ReplyDeleteAnd to answer your question about the boat's name.....it used to be called "The Julia Belle Swain "
unless they changed it.

ReplyDeleteYOu made me smile with that pink post! Loved the house and how's the weather in south florida?
I'd love to peek in the windows of that pink house...I wonder if there are pink rooms in there.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it has something to do with the warm weather, the pink houses I mean. We see pink down here in the southwest too oddly enough.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading my haiku. Although how embarrassing for me I looked at it realized my syllables are off and had to fix them.
