Tagged--Again! Computers in Heaven?

I want to take a minute to ask my fellow Bloggers to pray for those affected by Hurricane Ike. We don't yet know the extent of damages, but we do know that a great many people have been displaced. I know that God is good and that He hears the prayers of His people.

Jan tagged me! She wants me to list seven facts about myself! This will be the fifth time I've been tagged, and folks, it's getting hard to come up with new pieces of information about me. You know, I'm not all that interesting. Oh well, she asked for it!

1. I'm the last person in America to not own a glass cloche! Before blogging, I did not know what a cloche was; I thought it was a hat!

2. I was born in Pennsylvania and have lived in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, California, and Florida.

3. I married my husband two months and four days after meeting him!

4. My birthday is May 26th; I married in him July 7th at age seventeen.

5. I cannot stand muffins.

6. My favorite vegetable is brussel sprouts!

7. I am the only person in the world who has never shopped at Amazon.com!

Now for the rules:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share seven facts about yourself on your blog--some random, some weird.
3. Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

Tagged are the following:

Mindy at Mindy Said

Joy at Joy's Blog

Carol at Charli and Me

Jennifer at Breathless Mind

Leah at Full Time in New Mexico

Patty at Pip Stitch

Kay at Dish Diva

How much time do you spend on your computer? I spend way too much, but I used to spend way too much time in front of the TV. How did you used to spend that time?

  3. Ummm...I might be doing worse. When I'm not being creative at my art desk, I spend it on the couch in front of the TV WITH my laptop!

  7. I totally know about spending too much time at the computer.
Hey, I was on vacation for a week, no tv, no phone, no computer. I tell ya Sal, you can not even imagine the peace and quiet. Totally Bliss I tell you.
But to keep it real, I missed my blogging friends. And stayed up half the night trying to catch up.
    have a good week.

  9. Sally, I don't own a cloche, and didn't know what it was either. You should just refer to your other answers.
I also spend way too much time at the computer. I used to come home from work too tired to do anything but sit in front of the TV. I'm sure I might get something done without my computer, but it keeps me company ~ rather my computer friends are nice.

  10. I still don't have a glass cloche...at least I don't think I do. I'm still not sure what it is. What do you use it for?

And I can't believe you hate muffins.

The other thing I can't believe is that you only knew your hubby for two months and some before you got married. He must have made a very good impression!

  11. Hi Sally, Your tag is very interesting. I also thought a cloche was a 1920's hat, In fact it is a hat. I adore brussel sprouts and I have never shopped at Amazon.com. Fun tag to read about you.
I stopped to let you know I am posting for Blue Monday tomorrow.

    Hugs...Jeanne

  12. Hi Sally,
Unfortunately I love muffins but the good news is I hate donuts so I guess it all evens out LOL I don't think I can think of seven more things but I'll give it a try. I'm still trying to come up with something blue for tomorrow. How interesting that blue is my favorite color but I don't have much blue in my home.

  20. HAH...you'll cave and get a cloche sooner or later. I've had mine for a week now and I feel like an old timer hehe. And I've never shopped on Amazon.com...so that makes two of us! Have a safe and happy tomorrow!

  21. Thanks for the tag. You were even younger when you got married than I was! I was 19, although I've shaved so many years off my age, it now seems like I must have been about 12!
