So many have asked how our new home is coming. Today, I'm showing you pictures so that you'll be up to date. This is a picture of our dirt or rather, our mud. It's been raining.
Here's a picture of our small pond. It not large, but it's water.
Here's another view. Hey! What's that? Do you see something growing?
Why, it's our weed. Yep, we've already grown our own weed. Isn't it lovely?
They tell me that we'll be in before December. Hmm.
Nice pond! And, you must have a green thumb to be growing things that you didn't even plant!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a weed to make you feel at home. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww...your very own weed...love that you featured it. Cute!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how quickly they build things these days.
By the way...thanks for helping the economy by boosting the new construction numbers. You rock!
Many blessings on your day.

Sally,
ReplyDeleteYour pond is going to be a great feature! And I don't think one weed is that bad. When the lot is cleared, and your house is ready, you will be all set to sod or plant seed and have fun picking out all your trees, shrubs and flowers. How much fun is that?? I'd love to come down and help if I could.
I have my fingers crossed that your castle is built on time! :-)
xoxo

Awe---your own weed. Be sure and put a fence around it--so that the builders won't cut it down!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDecember, huh???? WELL--if it keeps raining in Florida, it may be NEXT December. GADS---hope not!!!!
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteI like your pretty pond, Sally. And the homes around it look very nice. That is very exciting. I received my book today, thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt will be great SOMEDAY. Thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteI little pond and a weed. Great start to your new home.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely spot Sally. Fortunately you're set in an apartment with your family not far away. No point in stressing over construction delays, since there's not often much to be done about them.
ReplyDeleteI hope they get on with it. I know you're anxious to move in. Your grass and pond are nice.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte
oh what a healthy weed you have grown for us!!! I feel for you with the mud...but am super jealous of that pond...on second thought..I'll admire yours...I have three rotten water loving kids...who enjoy ponds and mud...and regular wardrobe changes!!!
ReplyDeleteWell I do love that pond, and I can picture myself sitting on a cozy sofa with a good magazine, cup of tea and watching the birds, butterflies and water.
ReplyDeleteI have really been a bad blogger lately. Looks like I have missed so much on your blog.. I best get to reading! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Sally! LOL! You are a funny bird!

Judi
Isn't it amazing how healthy weeds are?
ReplyDeleteYou mean they haven't even broken ground and they are telling you you'll be in by December? Or, are you just saving the home to show us later? I hope your builder is faster than the builder I had in FL, mine didn't live up to their promised move in date!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty setting for your house, Sally. I hope the rain slows down so they can start on it. December will be here before you know it. Hobby Lobby already has Christmas stuff out!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, a weed. You'll feel right at home now!
ReplyDeleteCindy
