Pink Hedges
Precious Beverly at How Sweet the Sound hosts Pink Saturday. Please Pause at her Place to see Plenty of other Pretty Pink items that Precious Pink Participating People are Presently Presenting for your Perusing Pleasure.
At the entrance to the housing development where our future home will be is a lovely pink hedge. I don't know if they stay this color all year, or if they're blooming now.
Here's the other side of the entrance. These pictures were taken from our car.
I rolled down my side window to give you a closer view.
This shows it a bit better.
This is a good close-up. Can someone tell me what is the name of this hedge? I think that it is spectacular.

It looks pretty and I thought that the road also had a pink tinge to it.(in the first pic). What do you think?
ReplyDeleteThe prettiest blog I've seen in a while. When you drive on your street, please know that you're blessed.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sally. The entrance to your development is beautiful. I'm afraid I do not know the name of the pink hedges. It almost looks like the leaves are turning pink. Maybe it is a fall thing in Fl. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day and you are right 470 is a bit more impressive.
Thanks. How is your mouth???
Hugs...Jeanne
Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, but don't know the name.

What a lovely pink hedge beneath those fabulously fluffy white clouds in your beautiful blue skies! I'm afraid I have no clue what it might be, but I'm hoping someone who drops by will be able to help you out. I'm participating in Pink Saturday for the very first time. Hope you have a wonderful weekend ;--)

Hey Sally great pink post... I don't know too many plants but I think those are red-tip photinia which are kinda like a ligustrum hedge plant.... We had them in front of our home and they are really beautiful.... Your pictures were beautiful. Have a FUNtastic day!

ReplyDeleteHappy Sat.
Very pretty, Sally. We have similar looking plants bordering our yard and the neighbors but ours are very tall so I am not sure if they are the same or if ours are just not trimmed. The leaves stay the same color all year round....Christine

What a pretty way to welcome you to your new home, Sally. I agree with Donna about the hedge being "red-tipped photinia," and I love the pink in the road.
