House

The tar paper is applied over the plywood and nailed down with tin caps that look like half dollars on the roof. This picture is so much better understood if you click on it.

Yesterday, the windows were beginning to be installed, but I didn't get a shot of that.

  1. Good morning Sally, I did enlarge your photo and the house is coming right along. I really like the design. It looks large. How exciting it is to build a new home.

Thanks for your comment on the entertainment center and basket. I am still thrilled to look at it each day myself. My dh wanted to put the BIG TV on the wall. UGH!

    Have a happy day Sally.

  9. It's looking better and better! And I really like those round tin caps. Seems a shame to cover that up - you'd be the only people on the block with a polka dot roof!

  13. Looks great. I really like the way they do the roof. Here in Scottsdale they hold the paper down with strips of wood. They rot and curl up and come loose. Not good!
