Pink Toed Tarantula

Precious Beverly at How Sweet the Sound hosts Pink Saturday.

Please Pause at her Place to see Plenty of other Pretty Pink items that Precious Pink Participating People are Presently Presenting for your Perusing Pleasure.

They've Plotted, Planned, and Preformed to Perfection so you can take a Peek.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared on Jay Leno Wednesday night. She told how when she and her husband were traveling in the Rainforest of Peru, a pink toed tarantula got on her husband's back. I'd never heard of such a thing, but it sounded like a possible Pink Saturday post, so I looked it up. Here's what this venomous insect looks like.

Okay, I'm scratching the Rainforest of Peru off of my list of
"Things to See."

See you in two days for Blue Monday!

P.S. I just saw your friendly reminder about blondes. I have had a very bad blonde moment today and I can assure that's good advice.

  11. Ugh Sally.... I love most 'pink' things--but that one is not on my list. ha ha ... My oldest son once had a "pet" Tarantula (in a glass fish bowl)... I was scared to death of that thing. He named it JOE --and it lived in his bedroom. I'm glad it never got out of that bowl. ha

I am sad today though. My sweet brother died yesterday. There's joy in heaven but sadness here.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
