This has been a hard winter for most of the country, and we've had our share of cold temperatures down here in the Sunshine State.
You might remember the pretty plant I purchased to cheer up the outside of our rental. I moved it to our new house and put it on the back porch. This is an old picture of it.
Here's what this nasty winter has done.
But this is a cloche party, you say. Okay, for my winter cloche display, I give you...
Cute idea, Sally, and the etching on the glass is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteMorning Sally...love the plant...I would never even attempt to grow such a beautiful thing...it would give up the ghost the minute I brought it home! lol I wouldn't need winter to kill it! lol Hope you are loving your new home and that all is well with you and yours...have a great weekend girl! ~Picket~

Sally, you are an original!! Laughing. The etched cloche is very pretty. I remember when you first showed a cloche and your statement that you didn't know what a cloche was until you blogged. Me too. I always thought those things were domes. I still think a 'cloche' is a dome. HA!
ReplyDeleteLove your entry.
Hugs, Jeanne

ReplyDeleteI finally came by to see what Blue Monday is actually about. I've always liked blue and think I have a lot of it. Recently, I joined PInk Saturday thinking I had few things with pink. Finding I have a lot. I hope I won't find the opposite when I try Blue Monday!! Anyway, enjoyed browsing on your blog and seeing the cloche party. Uh-oh. I've seen some pretty neat choche posts. I may be finding out about that next? Hope to see you Monday. Hope your plant makes it! Thanks, Jenn <><
ReplyDeleteWell, this just made me laugh out loud. Now I'm ready to run out and see if I can find one ENORMOUS cloche to fit over my entire yard of dead plants!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally!
