Blue Monday - Easter Decor

It's Blue Monday! Some people are simply linking in and NOT putting the Blue Monday logo or link on their post! I will continue to DELETE their links.

To participate: just click here for BLUE MONDAY INSTRUCTIONS or check out the instructions in my sidebar.

Please remember to visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links; leave a comment, and they will return the favor. In addition, please remember to leave a comment for me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am not as adept as many of you in decorating, but I want to share my blue Easter decorations.
Here's some faux chocolate eggs that I bought last year from Pier One. I placed them in a basket trimmed with Blue netting and ribbon.
Note the pale blue on the dinner bell?
I've had this blue marble egg for many years.
A sweet friend gave me this bunny a few years ago.
Notice his blue eyes.
He has one blue egg in his basket.
I bought this lacy, blue egg last year from the $ store.
Of course Easter is not about bunnies and eggs as much as it is about a Risen Lord and an empty tomb.
If you are a "blogspot" person, you might find problems getting pictures to load. It's a blogger thing. (sigh.) I'm sure it'll be fixed soon? What a day!
Happy Easter everyone and Happy Blue Monday!
  29. Happy Blue Monday, dear Sally. I love all of your pretty Easter blues.
    Easter is my favorite holiday, and Spring is my favorite season. After we went to bed last night, my husband and I were talking about the crucifixion and the resurrection. It is amazing how something so very sad turned into one of the greatest events in history.
  60. Everything is just adorable, Sally! Love the bunnies and egg decors - stuffed, porcelain, or chocolate - - it doesn't matter at all :-) Oh , real chocolates would be so yummy. And the "lacy" egg is pretty too.
    Happy Easter! You're right, as much as it is fun having thse adorable ones displayed at home, it is also important to remember the meaning and the very reason why we rejoice on Easter.
  71. Thanks Sally for your instructions about participating in Blue Monday. Blue is my favorite color so I plan to participate soon.
    Please be patient with us new comers. I struggled and struggled last week to put logo links on my post. I was glad I was not deleted. All the steps seem so easy after you have done them for awhile but when it is new it is painful. After reading what you said for a Mac I was able to copy to my iPhoto several logos. Now to add them to my sidebar is another challenge. I followed the steps numerous times and did not succeed. Hope to participate soon and do everything correctly.
  76. Hello Sally, I have been MIA for so long and on Monday I was driving back to NC from Florida. I haven't missed a blue Monday in ages. I came home to so much to catch up with, I haven't even unpacked. sigh. Hopefully today I will get back to 'normal' I have trouble remembering what is normal here. I think normal is constant motion and chaos. HA!
    Your Easter treasures are darling. I am sharing a few of mine on Pink Sat. I never did get my Easter stuff down from the attic. Next year. The $ store blue egg is so sweet. You know I love a bargain.
    I pray for your full recovery Sally. I do hope you are feeling stronger each day. You sure have been through so much.
    Blessings to you and your family with Happy Easter greetings.
    Love, Jeanne
