Blue Monday - New Road!

Hello! Welcome to Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

Please leave a comment for me; I guarantee that I'll visit and leave one for you. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links and leaving comments. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week.

Make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Johnny walks most every day. The other day, he took these photos of his usual route for Blue Monday fans. Just look at that gorgeous Blue sky!
This is coming up on the neighborhood swimming pool. If you squint, you'll spot the Blue tower top of the slide; it's shows in front of the trees.
Johnny walks by a golf course where golfers' stray balls land on the other side of the sidewalk. This delights my golfer husband, and most days, he gathers 3 to 6 golf balls. He has quite a load of golf balls stored up and never needs to buy any. In fact, he has so many that he shares with his golfing friends.
In addition to the Blue sky, you can see the Blue lake in the distance.
On the left side of these trees is the exact spot where he picks up the balls.
Progress is taking place. Notice the new road extension coming through. Waaay in the distance, you can spot new houses going up.
A few days later, the road signs are in place. Houses are more visible in these next two shots.
Soon, we'll have tons more traffic. (ah well)
Happy Blue Monday!
I do like sky pictures.
Lots of pretty blue skies, and I can see the tiny blue roof on the slide. I can also see your shadow on the pavement, and the tree shadows. That's a big palm tree in the distance!
That's a blue sky like an Aussie One! That's a pretty good walk coming back in profit with golf balls galore, I bet he is popular choice to meet for a round of golf - bring your bag of balls they say!!
Your Johnny is a real catch. Not many fellows would be out taking photos for a blog. Just a dab of blue will always do.
What a beautiful area you live in, Sally. Such pretty blue skies and a gorgeous golf course. Love it that Johnny picks up golf balls and shares with his friends. My husband use to fish them out of the lake/pond on the golf course. New roads are a sign of progress and that does mean more traffic and another path to walk. Happy Blue Monday, and thanks for hosting.
Hi Sally,
Glorious blue skies! My post is also about walking, Matthew's early steps. He's 13 months old and such a happy little boy :-)
Have a great week,
Sarah
I hope the developers and government officials thought ahead to make way for the traffic. A lot of development construction has begun in our town with no thought about two-lane roads and streets handling all the traffic. Shudder. I'd rather think about where I might go to find stray golf balls. We have 3 golf courses in the county. :-)
Love the roomy look in your neighborhood. And you must feel at home with all the blue things to see:)
I hope your beautiful skies and lovely lake will retain their beautiful blues in spite of the increased traffic to come. Always delightful to visit your blog, Sally. Kudos to your golf-loving hubby for recycling :)
Sally, thanks for the visit. You can never go wrong with photos of the sky!
Hi Sally, Love the photos that Johnny took for you. Free golf balls is a good thing and sharing is even better. One thing you can depend on in Fl. is lots of new home construction. Probably too many new homes. Population explosion is the norm in Florida. The lake looks very pretty too.
We are happy to be home again. Lets talk on Weds. I have missed our calls.
Love, Jeanne
