Every Monday, I'll have a blue post, and I'd like to invite you to participate. To participate all you need do is:

1. Post about something blue on your blog. It can be pretty, ugly, funny, old, or new as long as it's blue. Leave a link to this blog on your post.
2. Place the Blue Monday button on the top of your post so that people can easily spot it. Place another Blue Monday button on the sidebar of your blog. (Directions: Just put your mouse on top of the Blue Jay Blue Monday button. There's one on my post and another on my sidebar. Right click and drag it onto your desktop. If you have a Mac, click and drag onto your desktop (without lifting your finger off the mouse). Now, you have a button on your desktop. You can load it onto your blog.)
3. Return here and link in with Mr. Linky by leaving your name and the Permalink to your post. To create a Permalink, click on your Blue Monday post title and copy all the stuff in the http window. It is a longer address so that people can find your post even later in the week--whenever they get a chance to visit. For those who just can't wait, Mr. Linky will be up after midnight.
Do NOT link in until after your post is up.
4. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links. Make someone's day; leave a comment. I sure appreciate it when you take the time to leave a comment for me.
5. Check back later to make certain that you have visited all the Blue participants. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week to comment. (That's why the Permalink is so important.)
Sound like fun? Gather up your blue items, and we'll play together. The following is my first post, offered here to give you an idea, but don't be boxed in by this. Create your own ideas!

I don't remember where or when I got it. It's about 3 inches and says, "Designer's Collection, Genuine Porcelain" on the bottom. The date listed is 1980, and it was made in Japan. I know it's not expensive, but that doesn't matter to me. I've loved it for a long time.

Hi Sally thanks for taking time to visit. Yes I would love to join.
I'll try to look for some blue shots. I feel flattered.. and by the way, I'm not a photographer, I'm just using an ordinary digital camera.
Hope you find time to read my blog MY CONFESSION.
Have a great week.
I too love it's muted shades.
HI
I love your blog & Blue Monday.
As you can see, I am a techno-putz and accidently posted twice.
I will enjoy the other posts as well.

Hi Ms. Sally, I would like to join this Blue Monday thing. I am wondering where I can grab the code for the badge?
This sounds like fun - what's the best way to find out what the subject is each week?
