Today is a special day of celebrating Blue!

Seven years ago on the first Monday of September, 2008, Blue Monday began! Before then, Pink Saturday was the only color meme existing. Since Blue is my favorite color, I thought, "why not start a Blue meme?"

Since then, every Monday, I've posted something Blue. I surprised myself! When I began, I never thought that I'd be able to keep it going for such a long time. Really, Blue is everywhere, just waiting to be spotted and appreciated.

It's a delight to find so much Blue wherever I look. Even my family's gotten involved. They keep their eyes open and often supply me with Blue things they discover. My daughter sent me these flowers to celebrate our seven years of Blue blogging. Mmm, they smell sooo good. Even the vase is Blue.

This Blue hydrangea is special to me because it reminds me of my father who grew them in our front yard in Washington, D.C. where I grew up.

Blue Monday would be nothing without YOU!
