Oh and the Gaters won. But the Tide put up a good fight. They just got wore out toward the end. Tebow (sp?) is what made the difference.
But the amazing thing is, no one ever expected Alabama to get this far. No one on that team was recruited by the coach. And when he took over them, they were a very mediocre (did I spell that right?) at best. And he took what he had, got rid of the drunks and the drugs (can you imagine!), gave them discipline, demanded commitment and turned the team around.
But hey, they beat Auburn. In this state, the coach can lose a lot of games, but as long as he wins the one against Auburn, he has a job. LOL! And vise versa for the Auburn coach who 'resigned' this past week. One of their 'winningist' coaches!
Hi, Sweet Smiling Sally! The cartoon is oh so true, and we give thanks for what the Lord has done and continues to do for us each and every day! :-) He is so, so, so Good!
Hey friend..that was a good one! lol Thanks for coming by..you know mama didn't tell me that until about 23 years ago...no one in my family ever talked about it..but we were praying about a family crisis one day and mama was crying so bad and she put her arms around me and told me how much she loved me and how thankful she was that God let her have me...then she told me the story of my birth..when daddy found out she had told me...he said he never will forget that night...said he could hear her screams clear down the hall as they cut her open...when I think of the horror that must have been for my dear 16 year old mama..I can't help help but cry...it hurts me to my soul...if you have ever read my Frogie story about mama you know how close connected we are...I love her so....Thanks for coming by friend..hope you are having a glorious Sunday afternoon.
