Thanks to
Martha, I have some April Fool's suggestions.
To an ice cream lover like me, this is the ultimate wrong: mashed potatoes and gravy.
☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ Do I really need to explain? Look closely.
☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ If you have children at home, this will work. Hmm, I wonder if this would make a
Blue Monday post? Yep, it would!
☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ We've all heard of green eggs and ham. I'd eat it with my eyes closed.
☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ This is an easy one. Change the dresser drawers, so that when he opens one, he'll wonder ... ?
My mind has already been turning this morning! I've done the one with the rubberband around the sprayer...works like a charm!
ReplyDeleteOh, Sally~~you are so funny! You've given us some good ideas here today. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe had rain last night. While hubby was dressing this morning, I told him there were inches of ice on the road this morning.
ReplyDeleteWHAT?????
April Fool honey! :)
Unfortunately paybacks are you-know-what. It won't be from hubby though, it will be Mother Nature. We are supposed to have unseasonably cold weather next week with the "S" word on Tuesday. Hubby will be in FL next week. Wanna bet he reminds me of this morning's remark?
I was planning on doing the opposite with the ice cream - serving vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce with dinner instead of potatoes and gravy with their green meatloaf.
ReplyDeleteFun ideas!
You always get a smile from me! And looking at the colored food I had no idea how much color does to the food choices or the appetite! Enjoyed your April Fools Day- Very Punny!

Those are some GOOD ones!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Sally! I really enjoyed them all. Happy April Fool's Day!...Christine
ReplyDeletelol happy April Sally
ReplyDeleteOoh, green eggs! How wonderfully yucky. I've always hated April 1 because I'm one of those gullible people who always get fooled. Apparently, I'll believe anything!
ReplyDeleteOne of my kids actually did the rubber band on the nozzle thing once.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I could eat the green ham or drink the blue milk!
Sally your full of fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy April Fools day !!

ReplyDeleteThese were great! Ice Cream lover? Did you get a chance to try Publix' Chocolate Covered Cherry? I guess they had it for Valentines Day. My oh my, was it ever good.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Sal...I gotta go bake a cake for my birthday girl. My dog, Gracie is 12 today.
How fun. The blue milk reminded me of our son when he was little. He wouldn't drink milk so I started putting vanilla in it and he liked it. Now he loves milk without the vanilla.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking on the book for us.

ROFL, I love the phone one too but I don't have that kind of phone. Darn!
ReplyDeleteThose are fun!! I wish I would have thought about switching the drawers! That would have thrown my husband for a loop this a.m.!! Next year!
ReplyDeleteHappy April Fools Day! Dana
Too much!!...I always include the name of the book and author and copy YOUR words when announcing winners. But when I came to you I was too intimidated to use YOUR words to you, so I changed. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Have you seen Foley's gilled cheese sandwich & french fries yet?!? I was stumped, the pictures looked normal, then read what they were made from. This is fun! ☺ Diane
ReplyDeleteThese ideas are hilarious*! Just thinking which ones I can do and get away with. (?) (WINK) LOL* Thanks for the fun post*! _Ashley*
ReplyDeleteCute Sally..... I knew you'd make me laugh this morning, being April Fools Day... I love the phone one also...
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how we get used to certain colors when it comes to food. Don't think I could drink blue milk or green eggs... GAG!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
You are sooooo bad, lol...love the tape one, should work good.
ReplyDeleteHappy April's Fool day girl! Those are some good ones! lol lol Yes that was my back yard you were looking at...weeds and all...I just love the country woodsie feel with all the different trees and islands we made..it was a blank field 8 yrs ago..I don't have a green thumb..if it lives it lives and if it don't we throw it over the fence! lol I've had to replace alot of the blooming stuff thru the years because of the dry hot summers...so I added more evergreens and then I discovered knockout roses...we have 23 of them...ohhhh glory...I can't kill them! lol lol My dream would be to have azaleas in every inch of the flower beds but I just can't get them to live for me like that...only in a few spots...thanks for coming by girl....have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHAH fun stuff! It makes me wish I had a side sprayer. But the mashed potatos...heck to me that IS dessert!!!!
