Pink Saturday - Cheerful Bunny & Award


It's pretty. It's pink. It must be made especially for Saturday!

Sandi at My Yellow Door awarded me the Uber Amazing Blog Award. The history of the Uber (synonym of super) Amazing Blog Award is a blog award given to sites that inspire, make for smiles and laughter, give amazing information, or have awesome design.

Thank you Sandi for passing this on to me; I feel honored! I think there was something about rules, but I forgot.

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound hosts Pink Saturday. Pause at her Place to see Plenty of other Pretty Pink items that Precious Pink Participating People are Presenting for your Pleasure.

When I was in rehab after having my second total knee replacement, a teacher-friend of mine paid me a visit and brought this sweet bunny. Sherrie said that she hoped he would bring me cheer. He certainly did and still does.

Isn't he a sweet one? With his Pink ears, a Pink ruffle around his neck, his Pink cheeks Pink nose, and Pink smile, and even a Pink egg in his basket, I think he's perfect for Pink Saturday.


I put him beside this hand-painted basket that I bought several years ago. See the Pink and purple tulips on each picket?

    Love the bunny. I can see how it cheered you up. My doctor says I will eventually have to have a knee replacement. I think I'm getting closer to that time. I don't like to think about it but every time I move my right leg I am reminded.
    You're right about the link not being there for the word here for the award. I hadn't noticed it. I was thinking here meant back to my blog but after reading it again I realized that didn't make sense. I did go to the originator's blog and I'm sure that is where the word here was supposed to lead. Guess it got lost along the way.

    Hi Miss Sally, I hope that second knee was on the other leg and not the second time around for the same knee!!! My silly knee that I had repaired (not replaced) is finally starting to feel almost normal again. It's been a very long recovery! : (

    I love your little pink bunnie. When my daughter was a little girl we collected bunnies for her. LOTS of them. She doesn't know what happened to them, but is hopeful they'll show up someday. Now would be the time to start over, wouldn't it?
