This small 5" x 6" oil painting was given to us by our former neighbors. Joseph Pereira is the artist who painted it. I keep it in the guest bathroom. I like the tiny
Pink flowers spilling over the fence posts.
Have a Happy Pink Saturday!Check that sidebar for the book giveaways!Plan to come back for Blue Monday.

When I was VERY young we had corner fences on our property and my mom planted roses around them. Sadly the roses caught some blight, and the fences eventually rotted and weren't replaced. They were difficult to mow around, even though they looked cute! This picture reminds me of that.

Hi Sally, I hope you check back for late comments. That would be me. I love the painting and it is exactly what I want on our wooden fence. Love the pink roses.
ReplyDeleteCheck Penny's blog on Sunday at Lavender Hill. We met her at the Biltmore yesterday and she posted about it. That is the reason I didn't get any visiting in for PS.
The flowers were so beautiful.
Have a great evening.

Hello Sally, I'm still making my Pink Saturday visits. What a sweet little painting. I'm trying to put flowers on my fence but the deer keep sticking their heads in and eating all my flowers. We even caught them jumping over the fence this winter. Hopefully this will stop now that the woods is greening up.
ReplyDeleteBless you, Shirl
