Blue Monday - Blue Flowers!

It's Blue Monday! To participate:

1. Post about something blue on your blog. It can be pretty, ugly, funny, old, or new as long as it's blue. Leave a link to this blog on your post.

2. Place the Blue Monday button on the top of your post so that people can easily spot it. Place another Blue Monday button on the sidebar of your blog.

3. Mr. Linky will be up after midnight. Return here and link in with Mr. Linky by leaving your name and the Permalink to your post. A non-blogger who regularly reads my blog sent me these beautiful flowers last BLUE MONDAY. Look at the BLUE! I never knew that God made such pretty BLUE blooms. Can anyone identify them for me?

  13. Hi Sally, your flowers are so pretty. I love that vibrant blue. Are those Delphinium? I enlarged the picture and I can't really tell but I have some growing in my yard, they come in dark blue, light blue, white, purple, etc. I think that's what they are but I am not sure. They have a white center just like mine.
    They are very pretty, perfect for blue monday!

  23. Flowers from friends...always leaves a sweet fragrance in the air. At first they kinda looked like bluebonnets but up close...I'm not sure what they are. Enjoy!

  25. Hello Sally, happy blue monday. What a beautful bouquet of flowers. How sweet of your friend to send them to you. The blue flower is called a blue delphinium, the green is button mums, white roses and the rose color is alstramia (spelled wrong). Have a great week!

    You've been given wonderful Delphiniums!!
    Love having them in the garden... they are delicate flowers which require much attention as they tend to be broken by wind... but they are just terrific both in the beds and indoor! I definitely recommend them.
