Look at the door handles! They couldn't be much cuter, and one of them is Pink.
A delivery truck is parked close by with our color Pink splashed on it.
Whoa! Look at this large mural painted across the wall and you'll find Pink throughout. In addition, please notice the Pink umbrellas placed over each outdoor table.

Now THAT'S my favorite do-nut place -- ever. Our DD shops were all closed in the KC area over 30 years ago...a sad day in MY life. I was thrilled when the bags of DD coffee started appearing on our grocery store (and COSTCO) shelves not so long ago..HOWEVER, I was on cloud nine when I heard the great news recently---we're getting DD stores back in our area. The first one won't be super close, but I will certainly make the trip so I can enjoy their delicious treats again!!

ReplyDeleteDunkin Donut was my favorite donut shop in the whole, entire, wide world and they closed here 25 years ago. Boo hoooo...My dad loved it, too, and we used to go there quite often. I use their coffee...really good...but sometimes I crave their plain, cake donuts soooo much.

What?!?!? no donuts with pink icing???? I remember as a kid, those were my favorite...pink icing with sprinkles. I have no idea if they even make donuts like that anymore....but your post sure brought back a few memories! Very creative Sally, today....very cute post.

I love this Pink Saturday post. The handles are so elegant and look at the painting on the side. I have never seen a Dunkin Doughnut store like this. How beautiful. Thanks for sharing. ReplyDeleteGreat Pink Saturday post. Dunkin Donuts are very popular here. I wish they tasted as good as they say. I guess I'm just spoiled after eating Krispy Kreme. However, KK are all mostly gone out of our area and Dunkin Donuts are going strong. That's hard to understand. Probably better management.

Dunkin' Donuts! They certainly are a favorite stop for me. You KNOW I LOVE the donuts; but as much as I love their coffee, I much prefer a vanilla chai when I'm there! Happy Pink Saturday, and hope you're having a wonderfully pink weekend! ~tina

ReplyDeleteYeserday we drove 100 miles to have lunch at a neat place here in the mountains. My sister Jane Anne and her dh came with us. The food was heavenly, but the company was the most fun. MY brother-in-law has know me since I was 15. Lots of memories to talk about. Now I have to visit my Pinkies on Sunday.

oooooh.....you really got some awesome DD photos!!! So, do you like DD? OMG....I was THRILLED when I saw they were putting one close to us!! Sadly, they haven't tasted as awesome as I thought I remembered they did, but I'm still thrilled that it's here. I LOVE their Bavarian cream filled numbers...the round ones with powdered sugar on the outside. OMG....I could eat 10 at once! :)
