Valentine's Party

Laurie from Bargain Hunting and Chatting with Laurie is the hostess of today's Valentine Party. I'm playing along to show some Blogger love!

I decorated a bit for Valentine's Day this year. I did want to attend Laurie's first-ever party, so I put a little red on my foyer table entrance.

The crystal compote contains some candy for visitors (granchildren) who like to nibble on sweets.

This pretty plate was purchased last year.

The little red candle holder is heart-shaped, and I got it from one of those $ stores last year.

Showing you some love = having a smile.

❤ ❤ Happy Valentine's Day! ❤ ❤

  2. Sally, I love your little plate. Do you know, I think that Pat (Back Porch Musings) might have some mates to your plate! You need to go over there and negotiate with you. They are little bowls, but honestly, I think they match!

I was over in Brandon the other day, and I missed YOU! I went right past Mimi's, and I almost went in there to eat. But it wouldn't have been the same without you. That was such fun. Can't wait for our lunch with Claudie!

Happy Valentine's Day to you and Johnny!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  3. Sally-I think I have the same little candle holder from the same place :) Loved your cartoon--Isn't the truth about the ring tones? When I call my son, his phone plays "somewhere over the rainbow" and he doesn't even know I have a blog! Happy Valentine's Day!

  24. Hello Sally, your pretty red plate is so sweet. I really haven't decorated for valentines this year. I still have time. Bill and I do exchange valentines some things. Not anything big. It is a lover's holiday. I love the little red heart from the $ store. They have lots of fun things in those stores.

    Happy Valentines Day Sally.
    Hugs, xoxo Jeanne.
