Hello. I'm glad you joined us for Blue Monday!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My favorite color is
Blue. It's also my husband's favorite color. In fact, it's the world's favorite color! True. More people choose
Blue than any other color as their favorite.
Bloggers are often surprised to realize that my house is not chock full of
beautiful Blues. Oh yes, I have some
Blue, but it doesn't dominate my home. Today, I'm sharing a part of my kitchen. You can see from this picture that I collect apples, but they're not certainly not
Blue!I have an amazingly talented granddaughter, Ara, who made this pizza man figurine from salt dough when she was about eleven years old. I was delighted that it made the two moves--first from South Florida to the rental and then to our new home--and stayed in one piece. It's quite fragile, so I've placed it inside a cloche, and it sits beside my stove.
Did you notice the
Blue pants? Here's a close-up.
Good morning Sally, I arrived home last night after a rain filled drive home from KY. I did manage to do a blue post about my grandson's birthday.
ReplyDeleteI love the cloche. It is a new item in your home. I remember your first cloche post. I still smile about how that came about. I love the little pizza guy and how you featured him in your cloche. He is original and very well done. Ara is definitely talented in the art dept. Quite an accomplishment for an 11 year old. He has 'great' expression.
I'll be in touch later this week.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
