Kelley's Blue Book is famous as a source for finding out the value of used cars. It's often used when pricing cars to sell or to buy. I watch Judge Judy on television, and I have seen her refer to it several times.

It's a beautiful royal blue color.

Have you ever used Kelley's Blue Book?
I'm providing the link so that you can go online here and find out the value of your car. It's a handy link to keep for future reference.

Happy Blue Monday!

  5. Hi! Yeppers, there was the Blue Book and the NADA (Nat'l Auto Damage Appraisal Guide). I worked in isurance many years and was in claims for multi lines company -- we used them to determine values of totaled vehicles. And, of course, I've bought and sold a few cars using it! (I'm still smilin' over the BBSers! You're right, that was sooo much fun!). Thanks, Happy Blue Monday!! Jenn

  7. I have used this book before each time I considered buying or selling a car. It is a very good source of information and one the car dealers use as well. Great idea for Blue Monday.

  19. Good morning Sally, I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday. It was beautiful here on the mountain, even though it was a bit cool.

I am very interested in the 'Blue' book. We might be looking for a used car in the near future. Our second car is the 'huge' truck that pulls the RV. It is a gas using monster. We are thinking of a four wheel drive Subaru. It is a very popular car in the mountains. In the winter four wheel is a must. The truck is four wheel drive but too expensive to run on a daily basis. Thanks for your blue today. Smile!

    Hugs, Jeanne
note: I am saving a certain story for another blue Mon. I have a lovely bowl of soup all ready. HA!

  32. Hi, Sally, that's a great bit of info to know. THANKS! I wonder if it has a price for our 30 year old Volvo? Shhhh... don't tell Mr. Magpie I even asked that question. LOL!

I had wanted to participate in this day with you, but I've had an horrific headache and slept for 12 hours straight. It's better now, but I'm queasy from it all. I decided to sit up and try to blog and not think about it.

Speaking of thinking, I think I got something with artificial sweetener because of the kind of headache it was. Either that or I got too hot yesterday and risked having another heat episode. Either way, I'm better now!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
