~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Blue is everywhere! In my never-ending search for things
Blue, I bring you pictures of the curbing recently done around our planting beds. You may remember that we moved into our new home this past December.
Notice the sky--a pale
Blue, and there are other touches of my favorite color. I'll show you some close-ups.
I'll bet you noticed the Blue water bucket on the back of the truck; it's important to stay hydrated.
This is summer in Florida!Look! Not one, but four Blue wheelbarrows!The machine that molds the curbing is Blue, and notice the Blue shirt on one of the workers.
(This shot is taken in our back yard.)
Ah, the sky has turned to a pretty Blue. Nice.
The workers have imprinted the curbing with a stamp.
They've covered our pavers with protected paper to keep them clean.
You're probably surprised that I did not chose
Blue as the color for the curbing. LOL
Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteA very nice place! Have a Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally! That looks like a lovely area. It must be exciting to see the projects going on around you. I have been to Florida only 1 time. It was really nice, humid too, my hair got pretty curly-ha!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
Sally, you live in such a lovely area. No doubt if these workers had not had blue on their work trucks, they would have been sent on their way. The things we want do for Blue.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and neat shots.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so neat. Happy Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteMy Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteNice backyard and a house you got there sally... BTW here's mine thanks http://www.mjoannafaith.com/2010/07/blue-monday-2-happy-4th-of-july-america.html
ReplyDeleteSally,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you are still up! :) Your yard is looking great - I love that palm tree in the front.
I particularly like the neat wheelbarrows. I bet they were chorus girls in a past life!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've last join in on the fun for Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue MOnday, Sally!
Boy do I wish to see, even just for a glimpse, a clear blue sky - with a bit of sun too :-) It has been raining here everyday in my side of the globe. Maybe tomorrow :-)
Mizpah,
Li
Happy Blue Monday, Sally. I see I'm not the only one up so early.
ReplyDeleteI had a procedure last Friday on the nail on one of my toes, and it has been keeping me awake.
Your yard is looking so pretty. I love how they made the edging. My husband did ours in brick, and it was hard work.
Good Morning, Sally! You have a lovely landscaped yard. And it does seem like blue can be found everywhere. Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteAmazing the 'blue' items you come up with Sally..... you are so creative in your thinking!!
ReplyDeleteHappy 5th of July BLUES!!!
ReplyDeleteI know y'all must be baking in the summer sun, but your yard looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYour new curbing looks very nice-enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sally, the curbing looks fabulous. I ALWAYS wanted to do that in our yard. Your yard is looking very pretty. A good way to feature blue. Smile.
ReplyDeleteNow, in the mountains, it will never happen. Sigh! I wouldn't like it now. This should stay natural and we have used stones as borders. This huge property is a challenge. Our front yard is nearly an acre. Low maintenance is important.
We have no company now. Just maybe I will get to visit today.
Have a wonderful day Sally.
Hugs, Jeanne
you found a lot of "blues" :) Great photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy BM, Sally!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have great curb appeal. Everything is looking so pretty in your area...well I think it was probably a very good choice not to go with blue curbing.
Sally, your yard looks so pretty - not at all like a brand new yard. I just want to know if you hired this company because you knew they only use blue wheelbarrows? What a great photo of the lined-up blue wheelbarrows. laurie
Sally, I am just getting a chance to make my rounds!!
ReplyDeleteYour yard looks lovely and I really like how they stamped the concrete!!
Debbie
Hi Sally, are you up yet? Thanks for your comment the other day. I am late responding to everyone. Tomorrow company is coming (what's new huh) and I was busy cleaning the cabin and my house. My brother's collie sheds terrible and I had to clean up dog hair. Their dog is so sweet, I'm not complaining, just the facts. HA!
ReplyDeleteEveryone is complaining about the heat I was wondering how So. Fl. compares to where you live now. Our high on the mountain has been 86 F. It is not humid. I love this mountain air that goes down to the 60's every night in the summer.
Enjoy your day.
Hugs, Jeanne
that is very cool how they do that...I have never seen it before! It really looks nice!
ReplyDeleteYour yard is beautiful as is your house. One of these days I'm going to come up with some blue to share for Blue Monday again. Haven't done pink or blue either one in ages.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Charlotte
