~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Johnny and I love to go to lunch here. It's only about ten minutes from our home.
Isn't this a gorgeous place to visit?
Notice the
blue sky and the
blue windows.
Here's the lobby. It's decorated in soft blues. Those palm trees are real.There's an atrium right outside the main dining area. Water trickles down that giant rock. It's such a calm place. In addition, there are a few benches close by.Although there are some items made ahead, we usually order our food cooked to order. Here's the full-time chef on duty.
"Almost ninety percent of the stuff is made from scratch, all fresh ingredients," executive chef Paul Finocchi (pictured below) said. "I care about the product. I won't put anything out here that I'm not willing to eat."
You'd think it'd cost an arm and a leg, but meals here are under $10.00.
Amazing, huh? Get ready for a big surprise . . .Check out name of the place on this blue sign!Our local hospital opened this past February, and it's a favorite eating place for us locals!
My late FIL use to receive treatment at the Veterans Hospital here. They had an outstanding menu. Also the Health One North Suburban Hospital next door to my office serves up some of th best salmon! My doc that I work for says they have better salmon than most five star resturants! Hugs Anne
