Several of you have asked if I'm doing well. Although I am improving bit by tiny bit each day, I'm still experiencing nausea, weakness, dizziness, and fatigue. I've been told that it's all part of my recovery. (You may remember that I was hospitalized for seventy days and given tons of medication during two surgeries.) I went to church yesterday in my wheelchair. At home, I also use a walker. The doctors have said that it will be a long recovery. I'm working with a therapist and still appreciate your prayers.

I also want to call attention to the blue sky.
Although Johnny and I have never used it, our grandchildren have.

That's a huge play area. Happy blue Monday Sally. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSally, this is the first time I have checked into my blog in nearly a month, and I dropped over to here to see how you are feeling. I'm so glad to get the report, and I'm happy you were able to get to church. I know you are going to make great progress with your healing, and I am praying that for you, my sweet friend. Sending you much love across the miles straight to your doorstep. Loved seeing the pool and the play area there.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila
Your neighbor's house is a grand. I love their pool and waterfall
ReplyDeleteBe patient, recovery do need times...

Glad to hear you're making some progress! It's always nice to find out that everything you're feeling is an expected part of recovery and not something that makes the doctors go "Hmm.." when you tell them. Keep up the good work and you'll be lounging in that beautiful pool with your grandchildren splashing by as part of your therapy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
Robin
I hope you continue to do well. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteWould be great to be there right now. Today it´s raining and blowing here in Stockholm and we really can feel autumn is here.

Hi Sally, I'm so glad that you are improving, even if it is slowly. My prayers are always for you each day.
ReplyDeleteI am confused about the pool. It is not showing on my computer. Unless it is in the background of the playground photo. I am sure your grands love swimming in that nice recreation area. We had the same thing in our neighborhood in Kissimmee. It was lovely for our grands and us too. However, it wasn't a pretty shade of blue.
We were in FL for the Gator game on Sat. A quick trip. We drove down on Friday and returned on Sunday. They won! Go Gators! Smile.
Take care and have a good week.
Love, Jeanne
That swimmingpool area looks just great to me! I'd love to have one like that close to my house ...
ReplyDeleteI hope your recovery will speed up a little, take care!
Who could be 'blue' in such a place?
ReplyDeleteWow, it's a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday.
I am happy to find your distinguished way of writing the post. Now you make it easy for me to understand and implement. Your writing style is eloquent, revitalizing and fairly interesting.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like great fun! So glad to hear you're improving and I wish you well on your recovery. I wish you didn't have to feel nauseated and all while recuperating, but hopefully that will pass in time.

ReplyDeleteChris
Nice place! Best wishes, Sally!
ReplyDeleteI saw yesterday the movie The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.
Poor guy was paralyzed after a stroke, but he dictated a book (onto which the film is based) one letter at a time, by blinking his one good eye. Once for yes, twice for no. Perspective...We should all appreciate what we still can do...
Hi Sally, Those are some fun blues today! I have a feeling that you are going to get a kick out of the blues that I found.
