~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Are you busy decorating for Christmas? I am. I just put up my collection of Byers carolers given as gifts to me. This year, I have them standing to the side of our television, in front of a ceramic Christmas tree made for me by my mother many years ago. You'll notice Blue lights on the tree as well as Navy Blue in the carolers clothing.
I adore their cute faces. Details make them unique. Both the girl and the woman have real fur muffs. The woman's fur-trimmed stocking contains candy canes, a wrapped gift, and a brass horn.
In one hand, the gentleman is holding a piece of sheet music for "Joyeux Noel." In his right hand, he carries a basket of danish. The boy is holding a fist full of candy canes.
They're ten to fourteen inches tall, and they're made in Pennsylvania.
I can almost hear them singing!
Happy Blue Monday!
  14. I love your blue carolers with their own personalities. I had a set of four in red and green velvet for many years and then passed them on to our daughter to enjoy. The white satin tree is lovely!
  22. Oh Sally what cute faces. I love these. I have not started really decorating. I have a few things out just to sort of get me in the sprit but I seem to be missing an entire box of decorations after this last move so I may have to get really creative. That's the joy in it thought, seeing what else I can put up to keep the sprit alive.
    Happy Monday!
  34. Children’s eyes grow wide when they see these tiny landscapes filled with doll-like figures, each one unique, each one singing a Byers choice Christmas carol. There is also a gift shop and a short movie about the history of the company.
