Today, I have a Blue Monday mystery for you to solve. I'll show you three pictures of one item, and you tell me what happened.
Johnny often walks alongside a golf course where he finds golf balls that went in a direction other than that which the golfer intended. In addition to errant golf balls, he found our mystery item recently. What is it?
My Blue today is the logo seen here. Callaway is a respected name in golfing.
Great Big Bertha is a name that means performance. Callaway introduced Great Big Bertha II in 2003. It was considered to be an improvement over all other drivers.
Temper, Temper!
Happy Blue Monday!

ReplyDeleteA bit of light blue in my kitchen today. Hope you'll have a great week! Autumn greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
Hello Sally, it is late but I didn't want to go to bed before I did my post and commented. My days seem to be full as we get ready for our 50th anniversary part on the 20th.
ReplyDeleteI think he found just the bottom part of the driver. Yes, I also think a golfer did not think this club was doing the job. HA! What a fun find.
Happy Blue Monday and goodnight dear Sally.
Love,
Jeanne
Oops a typo. I hate that! anniversary 'party'
ReplyDeleteMe again,
xo
Thanks for hosting Blue Monday Sally. I think I did the link correctly this week.
ReplyDeleteRob
Oh oh--someone destroyed a beautiful and probably expensive golf club, if that is what I think it is!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Sally!
Did he hit it too hard it broke off ha ha! fun though!
ReplyDeleteI guess the hit must be hard for a golf club to brake! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
A damaged golf club! Caused by too hard hit?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.1sthappyfamily.com/2013/04/two-events-and-blue-lights.html
Great finds though!
ReplyDeleteStrong golfers must had done it!
I love those blue reflections on golf clubs.
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like someone was unhappy about the way their game was going and slammed down their golf club and broke it... YIKES! Happy Monday:-)
ReplyDeleteIt must take an awful lot of strength of break one of those - a very bad loser perhaps?
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, have a great week.
Happy Blue Monday Sally and thank you for hosting.

I know nothing about golf. My son and his wife are very good at it tho. I do understand there can be a lot of frustration if things are not going well. Sunday in Texas was a very DELIGHTFUL day.
ReplyDeleteWhat could be better than golf-club blue?
ReplyDeleteCreative post for HBM ~ and photos are great ~ thanks for hosting ~ ^_^ Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the golfer ate his hat too? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Sally.
Hi Sally! I got sidetracked last night. I sure enjoy your stories that you share. I was never a good golfer so it is not my game but I did enjoy the story here!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!H ugs Anne
I'd hate to see "the other guy"...temper temper is right. hahhaa
ReplyDeletehugs, bj
Some golfers take their game VERY seriously -- that last pic tells the story!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I wouldn’t want to be there when that happened!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally for hosting each week......

I don't know why I never have good luck with my thumbnail, dear Sally! I've tried all the ways there are...but don't worry Sally, just leave it. you can check I have my fav blue and white round tablecloth and my tea china has blue. Thank you for hosting and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteFABBY
Oh dear, someone killed their golf club in a fit of rage!
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was thinking golf was supposed to be a nice relaxing game!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Sally!
It's a great Blue Monday! Thanks for hosting Sally, hope all is great in your part of the world!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is an avid golfer and often comments on how bad-tempered some players are!!
ReplyDeleteThere is a lesson in there about how loss of temper can destroy something valuable. Like someone else said, I wouldn't want to be there when someone unleashed that kind of anger! On the other hand, that's why I don't play golf -- it's too frustrating for me, even mini golf.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post, Sally. Fond memories being my daddy's caddy. Golf is a very relaxing sport... sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI remember my father once saying the golf would be the death of him.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
Thank you for hosting, Sally!!
I shared a silly joke on this post today for you to stay smilin!
It looks like someone had a bit of a temper fit and broke their club or whatever you call it...lol I don't play golf but my son took lessons.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
Lovely blue reflections on the golf clubs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Blue Sunday Sally. I had lots of blue today, entire post.
ReplyDeleteDenise
We have a few golfers in our family. Our Son plays on a beautiful course in the valley of 4mountains in Colorado. I don't think he gets this angry though.
ReplyDeleteAnn
Sally, temper, temper was what I was thinking earlier today when dealing with computer issues. But a broken driver looks to be an expensive anger issue. '-)
ReplyDeleteThe blue sky of your header and the peaceful scene of the water make me smile. Thanks for hosting, Sally! ~ Sarah
Sally, I found Blue Monday from The Charm of Home. Since blue is my favorite color, I love your Blue Monday party! It just happened that my latest post is Blue and White Dishes. I take that as a good omen that Botanic Bleu should be part of your party. :)
ReplyDeleteJudith
I actually like golf but only if it is miniature. Love that logo BTW http://www.mariasspace.com/2013/04/goddess-8th-birthday-labor-of-love.html
ReplyDeleteHello Sally
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday to you too!
I've come from Riet's blog.
Next time I do a blue post I'll join your party too!
Shane ♥
Oh, somebody hit one of those errant golf balls and then took it out on poor Big Bertha! Expensive tantrum I think. Haven't looked at the clip yet but I live with a golfer and he's golfed with some tantrum throwers!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
Robin
I tried to link up to Blue Monday this week but it won't let me. :-(
