On a recent drive, Johnny and I spotted this idyllic scene.
Just look at that Blue sky and the Blue water! (sigh)

ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Blue Monday Sally. This week I had a lot of blue in my post.

Wonder if 'anyone in power' is going to pay attention to the lake pollution.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Sally, I added blue licence plates today.

It is a shame this pretty lake is being polluted like this! Hope that local authorities will help to clean it up. Happy Blue Monday, Sally!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity. Anyway, the place still looks peaceful for me.

Hi! What things we can do? I hope something would become better. Thank you for hosting.
ReplyDeleteStill a lovely spot, although that last photo was a shocker! Have a happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteReally creative water shots ~ Great composition and lovely colors ~ Happy Day to You.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally -
ReplyDeletenice to be back at Blue Monday -
thanks for still hosting!
Those look like pond lilies overgrowing the lake? We have a serious problem with an invasive weed (forgot the name of it) here in CT. Algae too. Hope it gets resolved....
Hi Sally...gosh, it's been too long since I joined in on Blue Monday. I've missed Ya'll!!!! What a cute photo on your header. As for those invasive 'Wild Lily Plants'...we have them here in Texas, too. As pretty as they are, they can sure take over in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. Hope you are having a great summer.

Baby's Pink and Blue...It's A Test of Time
That really stinks. I've seen a lot of that in many of the lakes in the area. I see people fishing and wonder if there's anything left or healthy in the water... little turtles habitat being destroyed :-( Thanks for bringing this to our attention...
ReplyDeleteOuch! That has to be fixed! :(
ReplyDeleteHi Sally,
ReplyDeleteI had a little blue today so I just linked up. Your shot is beautiful! I love scenes like that but those are a lot of lily pads?? Thanks for hosting and I hope you're having a lovely Summer.
Blessings,
Sandi
Gope you had a lovely patriotic weekend dear Sally. Ok, ok...no photo again, lol..DO NOT WORRY! I'm happy to be here, that's all!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week, sweet lady.

Wonderful series of photos. Great composition. A really nice view, so serene.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, these colors are exquisite, beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally, I just posted my Blue Monday post. I have tried to compose the post three time this morning and twice I had to reboot my computer and lost the posts.Yikes. They say the 3rd time is "the charm," so here it is. Finally.
ReplyDeleteOur grands have all gone home but they left us both with a cold. Cody was sick and shard it with us. I was too tired last night to do my post. They left Sunday and some on Saturday. The quiet is so nice but we miss them already. We had a wonderful two weeks but my computer time was nil.
The lake you shard is a beautiful setting. What a shame it is compromised by the nearby farm land. It is sad to see that situation in so many places. Our world today huh?
Since I have been on my computer since this morning I will wish you a Happy Blue Monday and take a nap. It is only because I love you that I did this post 'three' times!!!

Thank you for hosting as always and giving us all a chance to find new blogs and new friends. I truly appreciate it

What beautiful spots. Great photos too. I love going to lakes. Only been to the Ocean twice. Hope to get back to one soon. Have a great week Sally!
ReplyDeleteSorry I am slow in my comments today. Some mornings are just that way. That was a nice drive you and Johnny h ad. We have lakes in East Texas that are solid with growth, but are very interesting to see.
ReplyDeleteIf I had my wish, I would live on the shore of water (but unfortunately these houses are always more expensive)! Happy Monday:)
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad world we live in, where nothing is at it appears at first!
ReplyDeleteoh mi goodness. So much stuff growing there! Is there any way to stop it? Your images are gorgeous... I am from Creative Every Day and now, want to check out Blue Monday next week. :~)
ReplyDeleteIts a delight to "meet" you! My post for CED has blue, but it feels like that is cheating. LOL.
That's happening a lot, I fear.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spot, I hope they can fix the pollution problem.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday!
Run-off is a problem in our area too. Thanks for giving this concern a photographic treatment. Trust your 4th went well.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a beautiful place to just BE Sally.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally, I've posted my Blue Monday but when I clicked Mr. Linky, I could't post anything there. So, I think I will put it in here instead ^^
ReplyDeleteHere is my Blue Monday
Thank you and Happy Blue Monday!
