The other day, Johnny spotted this big, beautiful, blue bloodmobile parked outside the grocery store. Fortunately for us, he snapped these pictures.

Good pic, Sally! Have you ever given blood in there? I would like too but never had. Happy New Year!

Nice blue bus, Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteNo, I have not given blood. I think I need to get some new and make sure it was hot as I stay cold all the time. Glad Johnny looks out for us.
ReplyDeleteI've donated blood. We dont have a bloodmobile here but we can donate blood in hospital.Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteA blue Bloodmobile, never seen that before.
ReplyDeleteNever seen any bloodmobile in my city. I've donated twice. I'd like to do it more, but I have low blood pressure.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, Sally.

Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteWe have mobile services here too from the National Blood Transfusion Service.
ReplyDeleteLovely looking bus, Sally. Ours don't look as nice as that. I have given blood, but my body doesn't give it away readily! They only manage to get a small bag from me and I feel quite ill afterwards so its a rare event for me now!
ReplyDeleteNaaah, no matter how I want to donate I just can't. Need more weight! Hehe
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday Sally and to everyone :)
Blue bus for blue blooded nobility? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice one, Sally. Thanks for hosting.
Sally,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting!!
Hugs,
Debbie
How sweet of Johnny to keep his camera ready--just for blue! ;)
ReplyDeleteFunny that our regular public buses use those three colours.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally, I have donated blood several times! Once in college I was anemic and did not know it, so an hour later I fainted in the library, but otherwise it is an easy process and so helpful to others! When my hubby had his hip replaced he donated blood ahead of time so they would have his own blood if an emergency occurred. As he was fine the blood went into the bank for others who were in need. I don't think I have ever seen a blood donation bus! We usually have donation areas in our local churches set up by the Red Cross. Have a wonderful Blue Monday and thank you for hosting! Linda
ReplyDeleteHi Sally
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the blood bus is painted blue not red - good choice!! I have a blue bus this week too!
Have a great week
Wren x
Our high school is holding a blood drive this week… although donors must drive to the the drive themselves. I like your blue blood bus.
ReplyDeleteSooo...is this a BLUE BLOOD BUS..??:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday....
xo bj
It certainly does stand out in that gorgeous weather of yours. I can't remember a time when I donated--don't know why really. have a good week.
ReplyDeleteAnn
Great photo. Thanks Johnny and Sally! I used to donate but now I'm unable to. It's such a worthy cause. Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vehicle, I'd like to see the front of it :)
ReplyDeleteWe both have blue buses!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures, beautiful blue bloodmobile!
ReplyDeleteA blue bus with a great mission. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue bus Sally. I remember seei9ng a bloodbus when we were in Florida but I can't remember that it was blue. If it was I am sure I would have taken a photo.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week
Great blue bus Sally!
ReplyDeleteNice shots! We have a bloodmobile that comes around our community every now and then. Not a BLUE one, though! I haven't donated blood recently. The last time I tried, I had just come back from England during the "mad cow" scare, and they said my blood was off limits! That was quite a while ago, now that I think about it. I really should try to donate again. Thanks for reminding me!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo dear Sally! I gave blood once here on a mobile. I hope you had a wonderful C'mas holiday sweet lady and may you be blessed in 2013 with good health, happiness and prosperity. Thank you for hosting all of 2013 and looking forward to the BLUES in 2014!
ReplyDeleteFABBY
In the past, I couldn't donate because I was thin and I think because I had such low blood pressure. The weight shouldn't be an issue now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Sally!
xo
Sheila
I've never seen a bus that blue before and it's for a good cause.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me join the party.
Denise
Fun photo for HBM ~ love the blue bus ~
ReplyDeleteThanks for visit and hosting ~ Happy Week ^_^
What a great thing to have! I never heard of a Bloodmobile but it's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI rarely blog Monday mornings...so much to tackle, but I'm so happy I had the time to stop by today! Hope your holidays were happy!
XO,
Jane
I used to give blood but now since I take so many drugs for arthritis and have had mono they will not take it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday Sally!
Hubby has, but I haven't:)
ReplyDeleteSorry Sally, I choose the wrong pic, but you don't have to change, because people may visit anyway! Hope the New Year is treating you nicely!
I've been anemic all my life, so they always reject my blood; but Bob is a regular donor. Never seen a fancy blue bus around here - blood donation day is always held at a local church. Take care, Sally
ReplyDeleteHappy New year Sally! I miss all the linky parties, having computer issues. xo
ReplyDeleteI try to give every chance I get but some meds got in the way last time. But I will be there next time!
ReplyDeleteI donated blood for the first time last year. I have a terrible fear of needles so it was quite a feat for me. They actually give needlephobes and new people a different color badge so the person taking the blood knows to be gentle and prepare for...well...passing out. :-/
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Sally!
Robin
Hi Sally, Busy day today but I can't go to bed without commenting. We just finished watching FL State Play Auburn for the Nat'l Championship. What a game. Fl state won in the last few seconds. Of course we were pulling for Auburn in the SEC. However, both teams played their hearts out and we are happy for the winners.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have given blood in the past but it was always such a struggle. My veins are hard to stick and I was finally told to give up donating. Basically any blood tests now is from my hand. Yikes. Bill donated for years but not anymore.
The bloodmobile is a great blue to share.
You really should catch up with the Downton Abbey series. It is a great show and so well written. I know you would love it. I think Johnny would too. This is not a chick flick kind of story. The women in the show are amazing though.
I pray 2014 will be a good year for you and yours.
Love, Jeanne
