Most everyone knows that yellow and Blue mixed together make green.
Today my Blue is the Hillsborough River in Tampa. You'll notice in the picture below that yellow is mixing with the Blue water in order to turn the river green for St. Patrick's Day.

I rather enjoy it when you stretch your blues to include greens too. After all, green is, as you point out, a mixture of yellow and blue.
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day!

ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday and St. Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty cool! I remember when we bought our home. The water testing guy used some sort of blue tablet and ran it into my sink drain flushing it to check the water that would leak into my creak. We had a green creek for an hour. It was very awesome. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Great post.
ReplyDeleteHappy St Patrick's day to you too, Sally!

Interesting---yellow river. I know a silly book title we said as kids about a yellow river----I shall not repeat it.

ReplyDeleteHope you have a great St. Pat's!
Hi Sally, I like your way of thinking:):) On Sunday I discovered by accident that StPaddy's day was on Saturday and we missed a parade in Old Town, oh well, next year then!
ReplyDeleteHello Sally, I just sent you an email and it just occurred to me that I didn't remember leaving you a comment.
ReplyDeleteI remembered your reference to yellow and blue making green. Clever point made for the St. Patrick's Day "green"
I hope you enjoyed the day. We had boiled dinner tonight and all of us over-ate. Bob started the corned beef while we were at bowling. I finished it when we arrived home. Cheri' was at the groomer and we had to pick her up before coming home. She looks adorable.
Have a good week. We are finally having warmer weather. Spring is here.
Love,
Jeanne
Your green river for the Irish has me wondering how it was done. Yikes.
