Blue Monday - Daughter's Dogs in Blue & Pierce

My daughter lives in Gainesville with three lucky dogs. She recently took this picture of them napping. Shirley is convalescing in a Blue heating pad (she hurt her back). Dashchunds are known for having weak backs.

After Debi snapped this picture, she noticed the blanket, the heating pad, the dog's toy, and Shirley's bed are all Blue. So she sent this picture to me to share with you for Blue Monday.

One of the dogs, Betsy, is terrified of thunder, so she is seen in a thundervest. It gives the dog a feeling of security. Louie is the third dog in the picture. He and Shirley are litter mates. You might notice their gray muzzles that show their age.


It's nice to have family on the lookout for Blue.

Today is our grandson, Pierce's 17th birthday. He has been homeschooled (as have all our Gainesville grandkids). He's completed his first year at Santa Fe Community College. We are so very proud of him! This picture was taken almost two years ago, but it's so Blue that I had to share it!

    Our dog is afraid of thunder too. His thunder vest doesn't seem to help.

    Pets are just like children to some. We had dogs all the time when my husband was alive, but no more. You can get too attached to them and it is as bad as loosing a family member. Blues are easier for me to find than some of the other colors. Have a good week.

    Those dogs are adorable! It's a good thing mine aren't afraid of thunder considering how much we get here in the summer.

    Hi Sally, I can't go to bed without saying hello. The dogs ARE very lucky to have a home where they are love. Great blue too/ I have never heard of a thunder vest but it is a good idea. We had a dog that was afraid of thunder and it was pitiful.

    Pierce is a very handsome guy. Happy birthday wishes Pierce. You look very cool in your car and the fish is huge.
