Johnny took these pictures for us when he went for his walk this past Tuesday. The first shot has a turkey with a Blue jacket. (I know it looks green in the picture, but Johnny swears . . . )
Here's a scarecrow with Blue pants hanging on the door.
This turkey has different colors for his tail feathers. Two are Blue.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving, but remember, you are what you eat! (gobble, gobble)
Happy Blue Monday!

Johnny did a good job finding blues for Thanksgiving in your neighborhood, Sally! Happy Blue Monday, Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteIt looks blue to me Sally . Happy blue Monday and happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHa ha Johnny's turkey jacket looks green from Australia!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgivings blessings! maybe the jacket was teal, which is a mix of blue and green:):)
ReplyDeleteMost attractive, festive decorations. The one by the door is very creative.
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful turkeys.
ReplyDeleteLots of fall décor out and about but not too many turkeys. On the other hand everyone is in a big rush with the Christmas decos already including the deflated ones that look so forlorn during the day.
Thank you for creating a positive for 'blue' through your blog.
Happy Thanksgiving, Sally. We don;t celebrate this in Australia, but I think we should! It's always good to give thanks and be grateful for the good things in our life.
ReplyDeletePS: Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteYour Johnny did a great job. A cute post. No one decorates in my area for Thanksgiving. However, they probably will have Christmas up next week. Just not right!
ReplyDeleteSally, blues for Thanksgiving. Nice touch. Thanks for sharing. May you, Johnny, and the family have a Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally. Thanks for the party. I love your turkeys. We're just getting back into decorating now that we're settled. Did a massive Halloween full on Pirates. Thanksgiving kind of got missed. Next year we have big plans. We're starting Christmas this week.
ReplyDeleteI love your Turkey and scarecrow. We're on the look out this week at our resale shops for turkeys!
Have a great party! So far your in the running for the giveway.
I am continuing this week because I didn't get to do all the features.
Good luck.

I had not associated blue with Thanksgiving before.

You always find so many unique items for entries into your Blue Monday, Sally.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Sally, I am posting this from our daughter's home in Kissimmee. I woke up this morning and suddenly realized it was Monday. We have been traveling way too much if I can't remember what day it is. HA!
ReplyDeleteLove your Thanksgiving decorations. Johnny is a dear. I decorated my home but we are not there to enjoy it. However, being with our daughter and family is a blessing indeed.
We send you love and Happy Thanksgiving wishes.
Jeanne
Thank you Sally for Blue Monday. My blue is a silhouette of a small wolves ornament. Great idea - a wooden multi-coloured turkey in a top hat. !
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! Love your shares. I shared lots of blue just for you Sally! Stop by and enjoy your week. Hugs, Anne
ReplyDeleteLove your turkey! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Not a tradition we are familiar with in Australia.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Thanksgiving here.
ReplyDeleteYour blue are cute.
hope you are having a great Thanksgiving.
Johnny did well. I like the scarecrow. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving - I think it's a very American thing. Hope yours was a good one.
