Make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While out and about, my daughter, Debi, found this little Blue vase. She bought it for me.
She filled the vase and placed it into the Blue gift bag; she surprised me with it.
She filled the blue vase with tiny blue blooms from her plumbago bush.
There are some markings on the bottom of the vase, but I have no idea what they mean. Perhaps you might have a clue.
Here's a shot of the tiny Blue vase without the Blue blooms. It measures 2" high.
Congratulations to the Kansas City Royals!
Happy Blue Monday!
  2. I can't get Mister Linky to accept my link up but I can answer your question about the vase. It is made by Whitefish Pottery (obviously in 2014) in Whitefish, Montana. Whitefish is my mother's hometown and we were just there for a week in September. To see how beautiful this little town is, go to my link here: http://weareflyingnow.blogspot.com/2015/10/have-suitcase-will-travel.html
    I'll try linking back later but Mr. Linky is being a pain.
  4. A very pretty blue vase and flowers, Sally! The name on the bottom must be the potter's brand name and the year they made it. Happy Blue Monday!
  5. Mr. Linky was wonky for me too, but finally worked. The vase is so sweet. Gotta love blue plumbago. Mine blooms almost year round. It freezes back in the winter, but other wise it is covered in blooms.
    Thanks for hosting! Have a great week.
  9. What a precious meme. I have never taken part in it before, but you now have a follower in me. You all that sponsor the memes are so kins and giving. I know it must take lots of your time. A plunge bush is a new one for me. It is beautiful. But...I am a lover of handmade pottery, and this piece is lovely. Took a pottery class in grad school I loved it so much, but I failed. The prof said I needed to give it up and stick with teaching :-)
  10. How pretty and so sweet. I remember that bush from a long time ago.
    My father had a green house and we were always visiting plant shops.
    Thanks for the memories.
    Have a great party.
  12. Thanks for the name...Plumbago bush! I have one and see them everywhere but have only seen them in Florida. It's my favorite flower here. They bloom for such a long time and give such a whopping punch of blue!
  19. Hi Sally!
    How cute is the vase! A nice gift from your daughter! And wonderfully, the delicate flowers of the bush. In Germany we also say "Bleiwurz plant" and it is a carnation.
