Barb of Bella Vista, is having a Show Us Your Roosters Party today. I love parties, so I want to participate.
Now, I heard that ALL bloggers had apothecary jars and cloches, so I bought an apothecary jar and a cloche. Then I heard that all bloggers had white birds from the T-store, so I bought some of those birds. However ... dare I admit it ... I do not have anything with a rooster, chicken, or even an egg on it! So I came up with these. I hope no one notices that I'm a bit (ahem) different.
haaahhaaahahahaaaa...o, Sally girl..you didn't move off and leave your cute sense of humor at the old house!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love these cartoons. i have to tell you once, a long time ago, when a lot of us bloggers were on Rate My Space. We all started ...well, on second thought, I think I will add this story to my rooster post so....come over after while and read it.
Hugs, bj
Very funny.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you joined the party!!!!

You amaze me Sally how you seem to always find the neatest cartoons. These day are perfect for the party. I did not have many roosters to share either. Clever idea.
ReplyDeleteYour posts always make me smile. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCute
ReplyDeleteBlessings and prayers, andrea
Finally, I found someone who did not have a rooster just like me, LOL! But since I am a shopper, I went out to buy some, sort of buying a new outfit for a party. Love your creativity, Sally, it's definitely cheaper than mine....Christine

ReplyDeletehey, thanks for the extra book. I'm almost finished with Ghostwriter... (if I could focus on 1 book at a time it would help)... but my new book is sitting here all ready to begin sharing it's story with me...
bunches of hugs!
oh...ps... I don't have roosters either! LOL
As always....you bring a smile or two....Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! I wish I had chickens, although our neighbor's chickens often come over and leave eggs in the shed for us. :)

I'm not into roosters at all. I see them everywhere and know people with their kitchens decorated with them. I don't know why!
ReplyDeleteThat last one is especially funny!
We can always count on you for a good joke, even on rooster day!! Sally
ReplyDeleteBetcha that (first) picture was a TEXAS rooster - LOL.
ReplyDeleteI've a hunch you were a very popular teacher, Sally. As always, thanks for the smiles!
Myra
Sally you crack me up ... LOL !!!
ReplyDeleteDiane
Great post, Sally, I was cracking up!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a cloche, white birds, or rooster. The one I showed for blue monday a few weeks ago is actually at my mom's house. I must be a bloggy loser.
But, I have an etsy shop, and a lot of bloggers have those!
Sally, when I saw your name on the Rooster list, I rushed right over.
ReplyDeleteI just knew you were going to make me laugh - and you did. Thanks!
Sally, girl, you are a charmer and I love ya just the way you are!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining and being a great part of the day!!!!!
Barb :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Sally, I knew you could come up with something! Very funny and very clever. Love that giant rooster. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day my friend.
Hugs...Jeanne
The picture was neat and the joke made me laugh! However, I've been seeing this "rooster" thing on many sites and to tell the truth, I thought it was for real roosters and not stuff with roosters on them. I thought it was funny so many women lived on a farm.
ReplyDeleteCindy
I love this! LOL It must be the teacher in you that helps you come up with all of these creative posts :>) Happy rooster day!
ReplyDeleteVery funny.
ReplyDeleteI love the commentary ... the jokes are a bonus!
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding a smile to my day Sally.
Hugs,
Sandi - My Roosters Party On

ReplyDeleteLOL Sally, this is a great way to get in on the rooster party!
ReplyDeleteOK, question answered. One of the rooster bloggers asked, why in the world does anyone like roosters. My answer, 'I'm an old hen, looking for an old rooster.' Guess What --- I FOUND HIM. Please introduce me to the rooster, YAY!!!! :) Seriously, I love your sense of humor. Blessings, Janet
