And look here--insulation has been placed. Notice the blue color on the bottoms of the studs. That's termite prevention applied. The picture below is a bedroom; you can make out the closet.

How exciting to have a new house! Years ago we had a house built and the thing I remember most vividly was how small it looked when they first poured the foundation, but as each step was accomplished: the walls up, the partitions for the rooms in, the fixtures and flooring in place.. it seemed to appear *bigger.* LOL I never could figure that out.. seemed like it should have been the reverse. Anyhoooo....

ReplyDeleteSally, I used to sell new homes for a local builder, and enjoyed it so much when the buyers would come out to see the progression of their new house...it was so much fun for me to see the anticipation in their faces. I always wanted to buy a new house, but it hasn't happened..yet! This is so exciting for you...can't wait to see it finished!

ReplyDeleteGM and Thank you Sally for the update...I can really see how fast they are builing this wonderful home...and girl it's looks like the Big bad wolf could't blow this house down..Once they get the sheet rock in you'll really start seeing the size of the house...I know when we were having our master suite added it looks huge to me...I thought wow I could ride a bike in here ha ha!! then they got the wall all up and I had to think tricycle then ha ha!!
