I'm planning on visiting YOU!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m HOME as of Wednesday, August 18, 6 PM. It is so wonderful to be here!
However, I’ve fell twice during the first twelve hours. Yep, I'm the classic "I've fallen and I can't get up" lady. I have Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy lined up to come.
Obviously, I still need your prayers.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During my hospital stay, Jane and Paul flew in from PA. How good it was to see them! They rented "the smallest car" that Jane had ever seen. She said that they sat with their shoulders touching! However, it was blue, so I had Jane take a picture of Johnny standing beside it. Of course Johnny is wearing a blue, shirt.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh....home at last. Do take care and get stronger...no more falls. Leave it to you to make us smile with the image of that poor lady in that commercial, only this time she is in blue! I'll be looking for something blue to post in celebration of your being home again.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot those cars around here lately. They seem to be great for getting around in the DC traffic. But I'm afraid if I ever got in one, I might not be able to peel myself out.
So glad you're home! Maybe you can get a walker or cane, even if just temporarily, til you get stronger.
ReplyDeleteDear Sally, I was very sad to hear you have been in the hospital and for so long! It's good to know you are home again but the two falls are quite the concern. I hope you will not try to get up alone until you have had some therapy. Please know that I will be thinking of you and that you and your hubby will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteSally, I'm so glad you're home! That is great news! Still haven't join in the Blue Monday fun again... but just wanted to drop by and say hello and wish you well. That's a cute little car! But I think I would like it in yellow!...sorry! But then it might look like a taxi! And then Johnny would need a dapper driving hat!
ReplyDelete"This I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
Because of His great love and mercies we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning..."
