~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Labor Day! Construction is going on in my neighborhood!
Houses are being built and this road is being extended.
Johnny acted as my photographer.
Take a look at the large machine used to make the concrete that forms curbing.
If you squint, you might see the word, "cement" on it. Note the bit of blue.
.
Here's a shot of the machine moving to another location.
Look at all the beautiful blue. on this cement mixer.
The street signs are a beautiful blue.
And just look at that blue. sky!
.
With the economy in such a slump, it is encouraging to see some building taking place.
Happy Blue Monday!
    I agree....construction is a good sign during these troubled times!! Take care and rest....soon you'll be back 100%.
  14. What does private road mean? Cannot anybody go there or does it mean that house owners alone pay for the road?
    Hope everything is going well Sally!
  28. Hi Sally -
    The blue sky is lovely, but I do hope all this construction so near you isn't too loud?
    ReplyDelete
  29. Nice blues! Yes, any sort of construction work is a good sign these days. The noise and dust can be pretty awful, though.
    Happy Blue Monday! (A little late.)
  31. Happy Blue Monday Sally!
    New construction is wonderful for this ailing economy.
  32. Hi Sally! Hope this finds you well and smiling! I see you've got some construction projects your way - we've got some re-construction happening here - and roads closed - since some of our bridges were washed out by hurricane Irene. Some detours are quite a hike out of the way and then back again! Construction and re-construction - spiritual lessons hidden there, somewhere . . .
    Joy!
