Some people like to awaken early in the morning, while others prefer to sleep in. Each morning, at 5:30 a.m., my husband, meets with a group of men at McDonald's. There they discuss sports and solve the problems of the world. Ah yes! You have Johnny and his buddies to thank for the solution-free planet where you reside!

This past week at McDonald's was "People Week." The restaurant celebrated their employees by decorating with Blue. Johnny thought about our love of Blue and took these pictures for me to share. See the Blue streamers and the Blue balloons?

You'll spot more Blue amongst the signs.

Why, even an employee, Jayson, decided to add Blue to his hair. It's good to see his sense of humor, and it did match his Blue shirt! He's also wearing a People Week button that has some Blue on it.

Ah yes, I heard that question: "Where is Sally?" I am left at home, tucked under the covers, with a smile on my face!

Thursday, my daughter treated me with her gift for my birthday this past May. She took me to the movies. We've been waiting for a film that we'd both enjoy. Notice the Blue sky and the Blue trim on the theater.



CineBistro is an experience of a new way to enjoy dinner and a movie.
The seating is luxury to the max. Look how wide and cushy these soft leather seats are!



They rock back too! Notice the attached trays and cup holders. Look at the wide aisles!




Dinner is served on china by uniformed staff--and it is GOOD too.
Talk about luxury! Boy, was I spoiled.



The film we saw was The Words.
It is a complex story-within-a-story about an unsuccessful young writer, played by Bradley Cooper,
who finds a great manuscript inside an old brief case and decides to submit it as his own work.
Because of that choice, his life is forever changed.

The color of Cooper's shirt is Blue.



Here he speaks with the novel's true author, the Old Man, played by Jeremy Irons.

I liked it; so did my daughter; however, we both agreed that it is not for everyone. If you enjoy reading books and seeing films that make you think, this is for you. Because it's not for everyone, I give it a thumbs undecided!

It's amazing how much Blue there is in our world.

Wherever I go, I see Blue.

My endocrinologist recently updated her office.
She chose to cover her dark, wood paneled walls with Blue paint.
I thought you'd like to see the result.



Even the water bottle is Blue.

In the United States, we celebrate work with a holiday called,
"Labor Day."




I love this Norman Rockwell painting of a teacher.
In fact, I have a copy hanging in my home.
I taught school, and I loved it!
However, I don't remember my students sitting quite so prim and proper!





Our oldest grandchild, Lauren, is a first grade teacher.
Here she is after a day's labor of cleaning and decorating her classroom
in preparation for this new school year.
Notice, please to labor she's wearing Blue.
In addition, there's plenty of Blue in the classroom.
