Blue Monday - A Touch of Christmas Blue

Hi there! It's Blue Monday! For instructions, just click here.

**When you link in your name and URL (blog address) there is still one more step. Please be certain to select a photo. I found that it works best if I pick the third choice:
"Pick one of the images on your site."

Sometimes it takes a minute; please wait, and make certain that you click "done."

When you leave a comment for me, I count it as a gift. Be generous. Visit as many Blue participants by clicking on their links and wishing them a Happy Blue Monday!

When I first began blogging, I didn't know what a cloche was.
Things sure have changed.
Recently, I arranged a Christmas vignette with three different sized cloches.

Sometimes just a touch of Blue is all that is needed.

I'm not crafty, so whenever I do anything crafty-like, I get so pleased with myself. I spray painted these pine cones silver. When they were dry, I filled the cloche with them and added Blue and silver ornaments.
Next, I placed the filled cloche on a blue and white plate.

A perfect item for a Christmas cloche: Mary in a Blue cape, Joseph, and Jesus on a Blue blanket.

In this tiny cloche, I placed a little snowman dressed in a Blue hat, scarf, mittens, and shoes.

Even his sled is Blue and he's got a Blue sack full of Blue wrapped presents.

Happy Blue Monday!

  6. Good morning Sally, You have become a cloche artist. Smile. The pine cones and the blue and silver Christmas balls look fabulous. I am proud of you. The nativity and snowman are so sweet. When I see your lovely Christmas decorations looking so pretty I want do do more decorating in our home. However, I'm not. I am trying to be sensible.

I love that I can picture your home with the decorations all around. It was such a pleasure to meet you both and to enjoy seeing your new home.

Wishing you both a happy Christmas holiday.
    Love, Jeanne
