Don't you love to get comments? I think we all do. Turn about is fair play. Do you notice that some do not return your comment? (Tsk Tsk) One Blogger told me that she uses the comments left for me to guide her. She goes to those blogs, thinking that if a Blogger did leave a comment for the hostess (me), they would be one to return a comment. What do you think?

On one of his recent walks, Johnny spotted a peacock. Thinking of Blue Monday, he quickly snapped these shots. See the peacock in the center of this shot?

The peacock is lovely. Alas, no Linky!
ReplyDeleteSorry! Slow Internet connection. It just took a while for the Linky to appear!
ReplyDeleteI like that peacock! They are quite cocky birds! Love their showy feathers! Have a great week! Hugs Anne
ReplyDeleteI love peacocks. They are so pretty..Christine
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Sally! What a beautiful and exotic bird to have walking around your neighborhood!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful peacock. I played too. Mine are here and here.
ReplyDeletePretty peacock. Happy Blue Monday Sally. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love the bird and animal world, and nature in general.
ReplyDeleteRe Comments: I return as many as I can, but I have a slow connection, and most bloggers have very busy, bandwidth hungry pages (lots of photos posted at high resolution, videos, and live gadgets). It can take me up to five minutes to load a single page, more on some blogs. By the way a BBC news page takes less than 15 seconds to load.
So I don't always return comments because I can't spend an hour or more visiting only twelve blogs.
I always visit the few blogs that I know load quickly. Yours is OK.
Thanks for this great meme.
I love the peacock - aren't they gorgeous birds!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and thanks for hosting.
That's a handsome one :) Anyway, who's the owner?
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday Sally!

There's brilliant blue on that peacock!
ReplyDeleteTHanks for hosting.
Nice Peacock, nice blue!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue on a peacock! I don't remember seeing a lot of the color in any peacock I saw in the past (it was mostly green). Glad to see this today!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the Peacock! Stunning colors from nature
ReplyDeleteSally, thanks so much for hosting!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debbie
Great captures. We have them roaming around the ranches nearby and these lovely birds with their spectacular display have visited us once or twice. Indeed, they are a bit loud but oh, so majestic!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a gift to have this peacock show up for you to photograph ~ Excellent! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love peacocks! It always amazes me how showy they are (well and how noisy but I guess when you are that beautiful you can let the world know!)... hope this week's entry is blue enough -- it is sort of more teal to me but I put that into the blue category!
ReplyDeleteA nice photo, I like the peacock! Greetings.
ReplyDeletePeacocks are such beautiful birds -- I'd sure love to have one walk up my driveway :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the video -- I don't think I've ever seen the back of a peacock's feathers!
I really love it when male peacocks are doing a grand display of their tales. It looks like magic to me when all those patterns are formed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. And I love your new banner photo.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. Thanks again for the blue.
I went on a vacation (imaginary) this week.
Come by and dream. And come by next week I am actually going to show something I made!
Have a good week,
Sherry
Happy Blue Monday to you, Sally! I always leave a comment for the hostess, and, as time permits, try to visit and comment on those that 'touch' my heart or pique my interest! There are rude bloggers, unfortunately. I like to reciprocate. xo P.S. I need to get my "blue" on so I can link!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bird!!!
Happy Blue Monday!
Best wishes,
AnnA
Hi Sally, It took me hours to do this post so I decided to leave it up for today too. We are finally getting our feet back on the ground. Thank you for your sweet comment about our anniversary celebration. I'm so glad you liked everything. We have a lifetime of memories of our special day. It is so hard to believe 50 years have gone by. Your comment about us and our family and friends was kind and so appreciated. We are blessed indeed.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the comments and return visits. So many just reply by email or not at all and that is always a disappointment. I wish I could visit more. I am trying, especially since I no longer have myself all wrapped up in planning our party. I feel free again. HA!
The peacock pic is awesome. Johnny did well. Those birds do not have a friendly attitude. Smile. I love when they spread their tail. It is a stunning display. The video is an excellent example of these lovely birds.
Hope you are having sunny days.
Love, Jeanne
I can imagine this peacock made your day! Happy Monday:)

ReplyDeleteSally, the peacock is amazing. Interesting that it is wandering your neighborhood. Is it wild or does it belong to a resident?
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting each week........Sarah
Peacocks are the most beautiful of birds! And to have one roaming your area is pretty cool! Thanks for sharing the video and for hosting us. dix---
ReplyDeleteSally, I posted April Chirping Bird Table Setting on today's Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing that a peacock was wandering around in your neighborhood. Blue truly is everywhere. :) Thanks for sharing the photos because I have only seen a few peacocks in real life.
Thank you also for hosting Blue Monday. It's always a treat to see blue in so many places.
Judith
Gorgeous! And that color could only be reproduced by God!
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email regarding your question about the shell heart, and I don't know if you got it. Just wanted you to know I hadn't forgot about you asking.
Sending you great big hugs.

Sheila
