Do you have a Panera Bread bakery-cafe around where you live? They look something like this, and they specialize in fresh baked goods. They offer soups, sandwiches, and salads. Of course, you'll notice the Blue sky.
Each restaurant has "bread" artwork displayed on the walls. Each painting contains some baked good. This painting shows bread and of course, some Blue.
Here's another example of Panera bread art showing the inside of a restaurant and some touches of Blue.
When I visited the Panera Bread by my daughter's place in Gainesville, I spotted this beautiful Blue bicycle, I simply had to share it with you! See the loaves of bread?
Happy Blue Monday!

ReplyDeleteHi Sally! I love the art. Very cool. You share the best things. I wish you a beautiful Blue Monday! Happy and fun! Hugs Anne
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely interior! My kind of art. When I was a kid my Ma called me "Mantikaon" (frozen oil) because it was difficult to wake me up in the morning but if I heard that we're going to buy pan de sal in the Panera I would get up in an instant!
ReplyDeleteHappy blue Monday, Sally. Thanks again for hosting.
Such beautiful cafes we have not in Germany. The bike could be mine, I drive so ever to the market. A wonderful picture!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday :-)
Great Painting!
ReplyDeleteI love Panera, Sally. I like their soups and sandwiches. Unfortunately, we don't have one here but lots in FL.....Christine
ReplyDeleteI like to visit Pannera when I'm in the Linwood area near Seattle. We don't have them up here, so it's always a treat.
ReplyDeleteThe blue bicycle with the french bread in front of dutch houses hanging in a café in America...how international is that! I just love it!
ReplyDeleteI still have my old blue bicycle standing in our garage - I think i was 14 when I got it!
ReplyDeleteSom guess what? I adore the painting with the blue bicycle ...
Happy Blue Monday!
I've seen Paneras but haven't been inside one. The first painting has lots of detail and depth, very European. My daughter's first bicycle, a Schwinn, was blue.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Sally we don't have Paneras anywhere near. In fact, I've never even heard of them before. I know where have I been? ;D
ReplyDeleteLove the artwork especially the bicycle and bread.
Hope you have a Happy Blue Monday ~ enjoy and thanks for hosting! :D
Gosh, I just celebrated my 69th birthday here in Mumbai this past Thursday and I haven't a clue what color my first bike was!!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen Panera bread cafes but, so far, I haven't eaten at one. I'll put it on the list of things to do.
My Blue Monday post is of Indian women in saris.
If I had a blue bike, I'd ride it EVERYWHERE!!!
ReplyDeleteHi! Nice series of paintings. My photo is dark blue. Thank for your hosting.
ReplyDeleteThe restaurant surely looks beautiful with those paintings.
ReplyDeleteDoes their food also taste good?
My first bike is pink :)

Oh, I love all the blue in the art. I do love Panera, too. I just linked up the latest happenings in my blue dining room. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I am late commenting again today. However, the cause today, no power. The Electric Company clearing some trees cut us off until just now, 11: am in Texas. That is a neat place to eat, and the art work just sets it off.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that blue bicycle, lovely!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Momday, Sally.
Happy Blue Monday Sally! I had to look hard to find something in this week's post for something Blue! Love your blue post! Thanks again for hosting.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jeannie and Linda at The French Hens Nest

Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally,
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm so late linking up. I was having blogger problems earlier. As always, it's fun to link up with you and it's good to keep in touch. You always share something interesting in blue. Thanks for hosting and have a super week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hi Sally, I had a long day today and I am late visiting. It was garden club meeting day and I had to take care of my sister's pup all afternoon. Caralie had a Dr. appt about her surgery. All is well.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Panera Bread Company restaurant. Their food is very good. Love the pics you shared and I can't remember what color my first bicycle was. It was red or blue. My older sister and I rec'd our bikes when we lived on the farm. We really had no place to ride them. The long drive to the house and around a circular drive on our farm which was dirt and hard to ride on is what I remember. We lived on a busy highway so that road was out of the question. Then we moved to Florida. Our bikes did get more use in Fl.
Happy Blue Monday Sally.
Love, Jeanne
We do have Panera Bread around here, and we eat there sometimes. Although my doctor is always telling me to cut back on my carbs for my health...
ReplyDeleteOh cool paintings. I have never been there. I have heard it is a yummy place! And beautiful art too. Love your bicycle. I think mine was purple. Come by and see me my late post is up now!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.
When I used to go to Panera I used to enjoy the paintings, too :D
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Sally, I hope you are doing well. I enjoyed all of your blue things. :)
