We went shopping at Hobby Lobby BEFORE Halloween, and these beautiful Blues are what we spotted--all at 50% off!
I didn't buy any, but I do think that they're blue-tiful!
It does seem that each year, Christmas--or rather, Christmas shopping comes earlier and earlier. This year, instead of waiting until the day after Thanksgiving--Black Friday, some stores are opening super early for bargain shoppers--even as early as on Thanksgiving evening! Will you be going that early?
I plan to enjoy my time with my family.

Lovely blue Christmas decor! Thanks for always hosting, Blue Monday, Sally :) Spring greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
ReplyDeleteHi Sally, I am commenting tonight as we are still up watching football Well, Bill is watching football I just finished my post.
ReplyDeleteChristmas decorations are on the shelves so early now. I guess the retail stores like to get a jump start. The blue and silver decorations you shared are beautiful. I love the combination.
I won't be shopping on Black Friday. I don't like the crowds. I am an early Christmas shopper though. Never last minute.
We are spending Thanksgiving in Kissimmee with our daughter Diana and family.
Happy Blue Monday Sally.
Love, Jenne
Oops, Jeanne. It is late and it is bedtime. I guess I am tired if I can't spell my own name correctly. HA!
ReplyDeleteMe again
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally
ReplyDeleteHope you're impressed with me this week, it's the early bird that catches the worm....lol!
Blue Chrissy decorations have grown on me. Our first Christmas in Australia I got out all my traditional red and green decorations (those that hadn't been impounded by quarantine - you can't get a pine cone into Oz no matter what sentimental value it has!) but it was sooooo hot with red decorations, we melted... So now I love blue Christmas decorations!! If there is a sale on in the US maybe I should fly over?!
Have a great week!
Wrenx
They certainly are bluetiful. I can't believe how soon Christmas is coming around, again. It doesn't seem that long ago we were celebrating last year.
ReplyDeleteThey are bluetiful!
ReplyDeleteI prefer shopping earlier, shopping in the crowd makes me dizzy.

I wish you a blue, blue christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe aqua blue looks so cool and frosty with all the silvers. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
ReplyDeleteNo, Sally, I won't shop on Thanksgiving Day--that is family time. I think the stores are making a mistake by opening that day and it is not a trend I'm not happy about!
ReplyDeleteHow nice! I always love frosted blue for Christmas decors. And that angel on the first photo is very lovely! I took a photo from a trip last month of an angel in blue, I almost forgot about it but then I saw this post of yours! I'll schedule my blue angel to be featured on my blog for a Christmas post ;-)
ReplyDeleteBluetiful indeed! I love the boot. Christmas is in the air... great mood rising!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas lights are on here now too but very cut back due to the recession - a mere token of what there used to be.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it's far too early for Christmas decorations! I wish they waited until the last weekend in November! Please let us have autumn first!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Sally!
Nah, no shopping for me on Black Friday. Have done most of my Christmas shopping, since I start in Oct.:) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYou have some pretty blues Sally. Christmas shopping starts ridiculously early here in Britain, usually early October. I always envied you the wait until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHow could you resist buying such beautiful blue?!
ReplyDeletethat's all so pretty...i need to pull my christmas stuff out!
ReplyDeleteA very nice shade of light blue, Sally. The shops are fully decorated for a few weeks already, here in Melbourne also.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.
I generally shop year round for Christmas...with 10 grands,(now 2 more thru marriage...makes me 12..GOOD GRIEF) my two kids and their spouses, one little great-grand...this year, due to the packing, moving and etc, I haven't done it. Gift cards for the grands... ALWAYS a good choice, tho.
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty blue Christmas decorations...and thanks so much for hosting.
I've got some serious Christmas decoration shopping to do Sally. When we arrived in Australia the customs seized all of my garlands. (They had cinnamon sticks attached)
ReplyDeleteI still haven't forgiven them :(
Gorgeous decs and they are as you say blue-tiful :D
Thanks for hosting and apologies for my lateness. I haven't even brought a note! ;D
I'm always lost in Hobby-Lobby, Christmas decorations are on the shelves tooooo early now. Happy Monday :)
ReplyDeleteI buy a few things all year long. I do not buy as much as I once did. I never do that after Thanksgiving shopping crazy. Hobby Lobby is a great store to find neat things in about any color you want.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas decor. It is my favorite holiday!

ReplyDeleteHi Sally, I finally got it right! All of the blue and white decorations are so pretty. Thank you so much for hosting each week.
ReplyDeleteJeannie
Beautiful and I can feel the anticipation of Christmas, too. I'll be home celebrating with a turkey and counting my many blessings.
ReplyDeleteThe angel is stunning, such lovely decorations for C'mas. Yes, C'mas shopping is early here too and I'm fed up! I also plan to enjoy Tksgiving at my house first, as there is no celeb. here.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. I did think my blue centerpiece would come out in the thumbnail, but NO!
Have a lovely week sweet lady.
Hugs,
FABBY
Sally, the angel with the mandolin is a charming piece. Thanks for sharing. Agree - Thanksgiving is for family not shopping.
ReplyDeleteI love blue Christmas decor! The angel is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day ,Sally. Thank for hosting!
I love blue decor around the holidays and your shots depict the true beauty of Christmas.
ReplyDeletePretty blue but seriously, I agree with you it is getting ridiculous. I saw my first retail Christmas decorations on Oct 22!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the blue-tiful decorations. I haven't started decorating yet (soon though).
ReplyDeleteDenise
Icy blue is a very pretty color for Christmas, some of my friends already have their trees up. Hobby Lobby is a great store. I've tried to link up but with no luck.
ReplyDeleteAnn
HI Sally. I hope you saw me waving back. LOL
ReplyDeleteWE visited a Hobby LObby around Orlando and saw those lovely decorations. I promised myself to not buy more for CHristmas so I didn;t
Have a nice week
Thank you Sally!!!
ReplyDeleteAnn
More than interesting the idea of sharing "blue" in so many aspects of life (cheerful or not, sunny or not), of this somehow "blue" reality (as a mood)...
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting!
ps. even on our shelves are the Christmas decorations....too early; I was surprised...but marketing plan seems to win in front of some other celebrations...;)
Pretty, I love that shade of blue. I like Hobby Lobby but sadly there is not one close by but they recently remodeled our Michael's which is really nice.
ReplyDeleteI do like this shade of blue? Turquoise?
ReplyDeleteChristmas seems to come earlier and earlier each year but your blues are just gorgeous and make it a little easier to take!
ReplyDeleteI like Hobby Lobby but they aren't close by so we usually go to Michaels but their decorations are really pretty! Happy Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteI do love Christmas but also think the frenzie is starting eairler every year! Blessings, Debbie
ReplyDeleteLovely Blues! Christmas is almost here..
ReplyDeleteThese are some lovely blues. I'm really not ready to think about Christmas yet. Maybe after Thanksgiving next week...
ReplyDeleteI had to stop by this post and say hi! I will be catching up with everyone all week long. Enjoy your week and your turkey dinner! Hugs Anne
