This is the time of the year when we stop and specifically thank God for our blessings. Remember the chorus to the old hymn? The words are here:
♪ Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done. ♬ (Makes me want to hum.)
1. One of the things on my list of blessings is YOU. I enjoy playing Blue Monday with you each week, and I appreciate your kind comments. I feel that I have found many Blogger friends.
2. I found this picture online, and even though I'm a city gal, it says Thanksgiving to me. I'm thankful for living in such a bountiful and beautiful country.
3. I'm thankful that we'll be with my daughter, son-in-law, and their four children for dinner this year. I'm bringing pumpkin pie, and she and the granddaughters will do the rest of the cooking.
4. I'm thankful for my son, daughter-in-law, for their three children, and two sons-in-law. They live close by, and we get to visit them frequently.
Happy Blue Monday!
