Blue Monday - Blue Halloween/Autumn Decorations

Hello! Welcome to Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

Would you believe that last week two bloggers linked in without placing a link to Blue Monday on their posts? To add insult to injury, they did not leave a comment. Now, REALLY! Is that ignorance, lack of good manners, or both?

BTW, both bloggers were deleted.

Thank you for leaving a comment for me. Make someone's day special when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll admit that this time of the year, orange is the prevailing color, and it's difficult to find Blue decorations, but with persistence, some were spotted on display in our neighborhood.
Here we have a scarecrow with Blue overhalls. He does a good job; I see no crows!
This Peek-A-Boo flag is purple, but in front of the flag, you may notice a Blue "thing" crawling out of the ground. It's hard to see, but it's a face and two hands. (Eww)
I prefer signs like this Blue one. Nothing scary here; just good ol' Snoopy and Charlie Brown wishing the world a "Happy Fall."
When I was a child (back in the covered wagon days!) Halloween was all about candy and fun--not much of this spooky stuff. Where did we go wrong?
Happy Blue Monday!
  4. Hi Sally,
    Great scarecrow - seems to work too :) Happy Blue Monday and thanks for hosting!
    I took me a while to comment after linking up... my computer decided to be extra slow and I actually was able to hang a load of washing before the computer responded. So frustrating, but good to get some work done while waiting :D Added two blue links to the party as I haven't been partying for a while. Hope all is well with you and that everyone comments today! Blue Spring hugs from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
  13. And we didn't even celebrate Halloween before. But someone understood the big business and the amount of money that could come out of it and then the shops were filled with spooky stuff. But still, it's not as bad as it was ten years ago and it is nothing compared to what you have on your side of the Atlantic.
    Happy Blue Monday!
  19. Hi Sally, lovely photos! So sorry to hear that you were a victim of some unkind and rude people. I don't participate in any group things, I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your post, and that your header is lovely. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
  23. Hi Sally, We are back in FL for the Gator games for about 10 days. Our daughter Diana lives in Kissimmee and we are staying with them. It is great to be with our loved ones again.
    Aren't you lucky to find some blue in the Fall decorations Funny, I was thinking of Halloween when we were kids in MI. We had to drive to the nearest town to trick or treat. Living on a big dairy farm meant living in the country where our neighbor was 1/4 mile away. Life was so simple back then.
    Sorry this post is soooo late. I was so tired from the game Sat.We didn't get home until 2:00 am. Sun. morning. I went to bed early Sun. night and forgot my post. This morning we were out early and just arrived home.
    Happy Blue Monday.
    Love,
    Jeanne
  25. Hi Sally,
    I wouldn't have associated the colour blue with Halloween but you've proved me wrong! Love the scarecrow :-)
  26. Blue will never go out of fashion even in the season of orange leaves and pumpkins. From sea to sky, the more you look the more you see. :)
  27. I like your happy-scary images! Lots of fun. Once again, I made a blue pic for Blue Monday, once again I can't work out how to add it. Maybe I am just too late.. This is mine anyway - http://www.mandarinorangemonday.com/2014/10/mandarin-orange-monday-115.html -it is the first pic of the post.
