Blue Monday - Ironic Blue Sign

Hello! Welcome to Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

Everyone loves comments. Please leave a comment for me; I guarantee that I'll visit and leave one for you. If you wish, visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links. Leave a comment for them. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week.

You can make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We were out shopping the other day, and I spotted this bunch of Blue. So I grabbed Johnny's cell phone and snapped, snapped away. See the Blue? There's the Blue sky, of course,
and the Blue barrier surrounding the construction work on the corner. (A Walmart's going up.)
There's plenty more Blue in the sign itself. Notice the Blue Hobby Lobby, the Blue Color Wheel Paint, the touch of Blue by SalonCentric, and down toward the bottom--the Blue dry cleaners.
But the store listings that got my attention; in fact, caused me to chuckle.
Look what's right next to the Blue Weight Watchers sign: chocolate! I love irony!
The stores are not next to each other. I wonder if the person placing the signs enjoyed doing this as much as I did.
(It's true: I'm easily entertained!)
Happy Blue Monday!
  2. Hi Sally!
    What is the color wheel color? Unfortunately I do not understand English so well and therefore do not know the meaning.
    No matter, at least it is in our favorite color.
    I wish you a nice week
    greeting
    Anne
  3. Happy Blue Monday, Sally! I tried to link in but Mr. Linky won't let me. I entered my password and it's telling me I need to renew my membership. I've never paid for Mr. Linky before so it won't even let me click the link. Disappointing. Anyway, lots of blue signs down your way. Hobby Lobby is my favorite! If you want to check out my blue post it's at weareflyingnow.blogspot.com
  4. If you would not have pointed it out which sign there was next to the Weight Watchers' one, I would probably not even have noticed it!
  7. What a blue sky! You always seem to be able to find blue. And funny signs. I'm amused that Dollar Tree seems to be everywhere. I find some great buys there sometimes.
  9. Ha ha! Good one, Sally. But the chocolate shop is where all the weight watchers go after losing weight to reward themselves for a job well done...
  12. Sally that is funny, weight watchers and chocolate together, but if I was weight watcher I would defiantly want CHOCOLATE on the menu....Thanks for hosting "fun" blue Monday, where our blue's are happy.
  15. Sally, you sound like me. Does not take much to make be happy. I could find plenty of blues around here today, as several homes and businesses have blue tarps on them. We had a terrible storm last week and did a lot of damage. In fact, Sunday was the first time I had ever been to church with no electricity. Rather interesting.
  23. I'm as easily entertained as you, Sally. Flipping through magazines and seeing yummy very-rich food advertisements after a how-to-lose-weight article always cracks me up. :-)
  24. Hi Sally, I love irony too. I wonder if the signs change from time to time as stores sometimes change. Lots of blue.
    A new Walmart going up. I hope it is better than ours. It is not well liked here because it was supposed to be a lot bigger. Every dept. got smaller to make room for food. The old Walmart store is still empty and the whole shopping center died. What a fiasco.
    Ha! labeling would be moot. One day if/or when Bill organizes the mess inside those boxes nothing will be pertinent anymore. OLD college books, papers from teaching and some pocket books his dad had after he died 25 years ago and files full of meaningless information. He saves everything!!!
    Today was garden club meeting day. Busy as always.
    I want to visit as much as I can. Bill is out of town for 3 days. YAY!
    Happy Blue Monday.
    Love, Jeanne
  26. These sorts of shopping centres are not common in Australia but we're starting to see more of them.
  29. Hi Sally, thanks for reminding me to add my image. I feel rather silly, but I can't work out how to add the link. I think the same happened last time I made a blue image for your challenge. So, until I work it out , this is my link (perhaps you could add it for me?)
