Make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!

One of America's favorite holidays is just around the corner, so I thought I'd share a new idea--at least new for me.
I found this red, white, and Blue fruit dessert from here. To make it, simply alternate banana slices with strawberry pieces onto skewers. The upper left corner of the "flag" consists of Blueberries. Place on a Blue platter.
How will you spend the day?

ReplyDeleteYes, that rich fruit flag, very original composition!
ReplyDeleteHow clever! And it looks delicious too. Your home is beautiful. Happy 4th Sally.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally! Love that healthy looking dessert! I love things like that when it is so hot outside! I missed linking in but put my post up anyway. I had hoped to post some photos from my nephews wedding in Florida from Sunday but did not have their permission to use the photos so will wait on that! They all had touches of blue on. Next week perhaps! Hannah celebrates 24 on July 3 so we turn the holiday into a celebration of sorts for her as well. I am in the process of getting her a cake. Oh that girl is funny. I will post pictures next week only it will not be blue! LOL! We have a barbeque and enjoy our phamily. I am not fond of all the fireworks because they are illegal here except for the large city displays which we love. But people still shoot them and it can be very annoying not to mention hazardous with the hot weather. We are still working hard on our house painting and such. Have to take a break next week, my hubby has three days of working 8 to 9 for part of his co workers shift since she is off all week and he is taking M-W-F! The overtime is very good though. They all cover for each other because the three of them are so good at their jobs. Happy fourth of July! Enjoy a beautiful weekend We display our flag too. Your photos were lovely. Take care and Hugs, Anne
