Blue Monday - Tiny Blue and White Teapot

Hi there! It's time for Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

I hope you're staying warm this winter. According to the Punxsutawney Phil, we'll soon have Spring!

Some ask for sun and some for rain
And sometimes both together;
Pray you for sunshine in your heart
And then forget the weather. (Unknown)

Congratulations to the NFL Superbowl Champions, the Baltimore Ravens.

I have a darling little blue and white teapot to show today. It is quite old; it was my mother's, but I don't know how she obtained it. It's small enough to use as a Christmas tree ornament, and it even has am attached hanger; however, I've never put it on my Christmas tree. Neither did my mom. We have always used it for display wherever a touch of blue was needed. Of course, that can be almost any place!

There's a hole in the back, perhaps for a tiny touch of greenery. What else do you think that hole could be used for?

The back is solid. That line on the back is not a crack; it's like a scratch covered over with the glaze.

The bottom marking says "made in Taiwan."

Do you have any idea why this item was made? How would you use it?

Happy Blue Monday!
