So Much Smaller

With the holidays over, some people's thoughts turn to dieting. Perhaps Eve was the first lady to think less of herself, rather than to trust in God's unconditional love.

Spiritual Sundays are hosted by gracious Ginger and charming Charlotte. To visit other participants, click here.

See you tomorrow for Blue Monday!

I stopped by to wish you a Happy Pink Saturday, but I will wish you a happy Sunday, too. And, a very Happy New Year.

This cartoon made me smile. How blessed we are in God's love.

Good morning Sally. I have missed visiting you. We have all been so busy with the holidays. I am ready to start the New Year with a positive outlook on all things for the glory of our Lord. Yes, one of these glories is to lose a few ponds. It would make me gloriously happy. BIG smile,

Have a wonderful year Sally. I am looking forward to seeing you in March with as many Bloggers we can get together.

Hugs, Jeanne

She still didn't get it...that God made leaves to cover her up..because He truly loved her! Cute cartoon. Have a great weekend. God bless.

... I'm hoping this year will find me less critical of the image in my looking glass; more open to His unconditional acceptance.
Happy New Year!

Funny cartoon. Facing the "facts" about being too big for your leaves might not necessarily mean one thinks less of him or herself.

I've always believed that it's the person inside that's important. Happy Sunday Sally ♥

Cute cartoon. Makes me think about how "little" I used to be. I think I could have been covered by a pretty small leaf. LOL Not now.
Blessings to you in this new year.

Isn't it funny, Sally, how everyone starts in January with a resolution to lose weight? All of the ads are advertising healthy foods, weight lifting equipment, diet aids, etc.... They make big monies on us humans especially in January... By Valentine's Day--we're back to the chocolates!!!! ha

Cute post.
Hugs,
Betsy

Sally,
That is a cute cartoon! I have determined that I've eaten way too many goodies over this Christmas New Year Holliday and I need to rethink my diet! :0)
