~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) is one of my favorite television programs. I "watch" it every Monday night by telephone with my friend, Belle Jo, who lives in Mississippi. We chat during the commercials!
Tonight is the final episode of DWTS, and it will be something worth watching! The remaining three couples are so talented that anyone of them could win the coveted, giant trophy ball. I have noticed that my favorite color
blue shows up in their costumes. For today's
Blue Monday, I'm presenting some pretty
blue costumes, worn by the three finalists.
Here's Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger during week 3. Look at those high leaps! They are the favorites to win. Nicole was a dancer before DWTS, so she has an edge.
One of the judges, Bruno Tonioli, said that Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were a "symphony in
blue." Erin has steadily improved each week.
Anna Trebunskaya and Evan Lysacek show beautiful extensions with their long arms and legs. Isn't her
blue gown just lovely? Evan already knows a good bit about the art of movement as he won a gold medal for ice skating.

I really don't enjoy watching much television, but I have watched DWTS this season because my best friend loves it. However, she won't be on the phone during the show. I am allowed to speak with her when it is over.
My favorite pair is Anna and Evan, but I suspect Derek and Nicole will win. I am really okay with any of the three couples because they are all great.
Hi Sally, Yes, I do watch this show. I love the dancing. Both of the couples you have shown today are two of my faves. I believe that Nicole and Derek will win. They can really dance well together. The top three are all deserving to be in that position. Bill watches this show too. Erin is a gator, so of course, he is hoping she will win. Sometimes my sister calls during a show and we chat for one minute and hang up. Beverly is right. I don't like to watch the show and talk on the phone. smile!

Hi Most Blue Smiling One! Oh, I like to watch DWTS, but am not faithful to it, so I'm not up on the couples. These are some pretty blues on their costumes, but sometimes I'm amazed at the barely there costumes on the gals! :)

I usually watch the first hour on Monday (before 24 comes on) and then watch the 2nd night results (at least the end to see who gets kicked off). Love the show. Since this is the last season for 24 I'll be able to watch the entire thing next season!
Love the costumes. It is as much fun seeing them as it is the dancing. How wonderful that you get to share it with your friend long distance. How fun is that?

Good morning Sally, I came over to see what you reaction was last night of the dancing. I think the judges were a bit harsh and they want Nicole to win. I knew Len would hate Erin's free style dance. I told Bill he would give them an 8, and he did. I am sorry the show is ending. I enjoy it so much.

I just love love love those chickens or birds at the top of this page...what the heck are they anyways? I've never seen anything like them...ok....dancing with the stars...can't speak to my sister when the show is on..she's totally hooked.
Hi Sally you are right. They should just have given the trophy to Nicole and get it over with. HA! She is a fantastic dancer. There have been a few like her. I knew Brook would win right from the get go too. Now she is the female announcer. She is beautiful.

I've been a fan of DWTS from the moment it first aired! I missed some of the Mon. night shows this season, cuz 24 was on part of the time DWTS was on. It was the last season for 24...and I've loved it, too! I figured the former Pussycat Girl would win, cuz she was a dancer...but the other two were good,too!! I love it that you and a buddy watch it together via phone conversations!!:)
Re: your comment about my neighbors and when I'm taking photos for those crazy posts. Usually, I wait until no one is outside (they may be peeking from windows, though!), however, on the day I did the Pig Shoot :) there were folks replacing a street sign at the top of our cul de sac. They did keep an eye out on me as I crawled around on the yard with the pigs and my camera! :) They just thought I was a crazy old gal with nothing better to do....they were right!

I pre-posted Blue Monday because we are going to Fl. for our grandson's HS graduation. He need lots of support because his mom has passed away and I am sure he will be thinking of her on his graduation day. My daughter is giving him a little party.
