Blue candy.
One candy I've always loved is York Peppermint Patties. Why, I remember waaay back when I was pregnant, convincing Johnny that my heartburn would be helped if I had one! Then he'd make a special trip to the store. (He's so easy!)

The Blue and white candy sells in 10.5oz bags for about $4.00.
These M & M-sized candies are supposed to taste like a York Peppermint Pattie; however, I found the outside coating interferes with the taste I love.
If you like the taste of the original, but don't wish to consume a full-size candy bar, try this smaller version:
They are not Blue, but they do taste just like the larger ones.
However, I cannot promise that they cure heartburn!

well - the blue and white LOOKS pretty doesn't it? I don't care for coating for some reason. I've found that with lots of candies although I haven't tried this. I do love the original peppermint patty though-

My daughter has always loved them as well. Remember the commercial..."When I eat a York Peppermint Patty..." and then the person would be doing something like exploring a cool mountain or something.
I enjoy York, but M&Ms also have BLUE
York or M&M - either works for me! Love the BLUE, green, yellow, red, orange, and all others! But on BLUE MONDAY, there's nothing better than BLUE mints! Today I vote for York!

Hi Sally, Loved this post...the blue m&m's are a decorators dream...my kids would eat them all up before anyone could appreciate their lovely color though. I wouldn't be happy going to the movies without a peppermint patty. Also wanted to wish you a happy Anniversary from last week...we were on a staycation, so I was off the computer for the most part. Hope it was wonderful.
I have never tried York candies. The blue color is such a pretty blue. My favorite candies are Cadbury and Lindt chocolate, Susan...Christine
The candies look yummy...i think we also have york candy here but it is all white and wrapped individually and the taste is cool and menthol.

Peppermint Patties are one of my favorites! I am afraid if I were to buy a bag of the M&M sized ones I wouldn't stop eating them. The same with the small bag of little ones. I have no will power!

Hi Sally, we are home from camping and relaxing after a very busy week. We had a fun week even though it was very hot and humid. The mountain streams and water falls (small ones) were great for cooling off.
Your candy on hand for your company and grands is a sweet idea. My problem is my hubby would eat it all first. He binges on candy and he is a diabetic. (recently diagnosed)
I will see you tomorrow for Blue Monday. I am positive york mints do make one feel better. ( my fave too) smile.
