I've been fighting a bout of asthma for the past month. Guess what I've stumbled upon? Blue medicine! The package has two shades of Blue.




Look at this lozenge with its pretty shade of soft Blue. Perfect, don't ya think?

My son, his wife and family traveled to Chicago this month. They loved eating pizza and visiting the "ramblin' town."

One of the highlights of their trip was experiencing Blue Man Group. It doesn't get any Bluer than this! I copied this information from the internet:

Blue Man Group is best known for its award-winning theatrical productions which critics have described as "ground-breaking," "hilarious," "visually stunning" and "musically powerful." These performances feature three enigmatic bald and Blue characters who take the audience through a multi-sensory experience that combines theater, percussive music, art, science, and vaudeville into a form of entertainment that is like nothing else. People from all over the world, from all walks of life and from all age groups have become fans of Blue Man Group's show in New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Berlin, and Tokyo, and their touring rock concert, Megastar World Tour.

Most of you know that we moved from South Florida into the Tampa area this past year. We're enjoying our new home and surroundings.

Because our back yard faces a small pond, we see some interesting wildlife. Look at what we recently spotted! A Blue Heron. He's standing on a concrete overflow pipe.



I looked it up and found a site, where I copied this information:

Adult Description

* Large, gray bird.
* Long legs
* Long, "S"-shaped neck.
* Long, thick bill.
* White crown stripe.
* Black plume extending from behind eye to off the back of the neck.
* Shaggy feathers on neck and back.
* Bluish gray back, wings, and belly.
* Reddish or gray neck.
* White morph all white with pale legs, yellow bill.

Immature Description
Juvenile similar to adult, but has gray crown, a dark upper bill, rusty brown edging to back feathers, and lacks body plumes.



That little touch of Blue on his feathers identifies him.

It's summer and it's hot! With our tough economy, some people will take any job to earn a couple of bucks. We have folks dressed up and standing by the side of the road, trying to catch the attention of those driving by. I call them Roadside Salesmen. Look what I spotted while driving around in Tampa.

The only Blue in this picture is the beautiful sky. This fellow is fake, so he's not minding the heat, but we have plenty of REAL Roadside Salesmen.




This happy lady is showing off her Blue while she entices people to buy some lunch. Notice that gallon of water on the sidewalk just behind her.



Here we have some Blue, but you must look carefully. No, it's not Pluto; it's the fellow dressed like a Mexican hiding behind his shady sign and under the umbrella. See his Blue shirt? Both of these people are real, I assure you!



Mario is wearing Blue pants and holding a Blue sign.




I know that I couldn't bear this job; I'd be melting!
I never noticed Roadside Salesmen when I lived in South Florida.
I wonder, if this is peculiar in just my area, or if you see Roadside Salesmen where you live.

Look what came in my mail! Denise Marie from Denise Marie Bloomin had a "blog-a-versary celebration door prize," and I won! She made note cards in Blue brown, and white just for me! They're made with such care and details: hand stamped, touches of ribbon, and 3-D parts. Denise Marie is a handy lady. She not only crafts, but she finds great buys that she shares on her blog.

I turned the card over so that you can read the message, it says,
