~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since I've begun blogging, I find I enjoy decorating for the seasons. I thought that for the next couple of weeks, I'd share some of the Easter decorations in my home--the blue ones, of course! This is our front entrance. I love changing the items on this glass table top to reflect the season.
There's a chick inside the apothecary jar. She's carrying a blue egg, tied with a blue bow. I have her standing on some crystal and blue stones.
Sitting below, is this sweet lamb, with his blue bow, holding a blue butterfly on a pink stick. The bottom of his feet are blue too.
The chick shows up better outside of the apothecary jar. She hopped out to pose for this picture!
I bought this blue egg a couple of years ago at the $ store. I love the lacy texture of it.
Can you believe that it was only $1.00?
Check out my book giveaway by clicking on the book cover located in my sidebar.
Happy Blue Monday!
Good morning Sally, I have bee in Atlanta for 5 days with my sisters. They did their monthly antique show and I joined them. As usual we had lots of fun. I will post it tomorrow.
Your Easter blue is very pretty and festive. The chick with the egg is too cute and I love it on the blue and white glass. The blue egg looks like much more money. A good bargain. I do love a bargain. Your home is very lovely Sally. I too love to decorate for the seasons. It puts a smile on my face and I am smiling at your post this morning.
Hugs, Jeanne
Happy Blue Monday, dear Sally. I am especially happy today because I took the day off of work.
We had a new countertop and sinks put in our master bath, and we had the vanity repainted. The plumber is supposed to be here in the next hour or so to put on the new faucets. We are real excited, and I think it looks great. Now, I just have to put everything back in the cabinets and drawers.
I love your pretty Easter decorations. And, I like doing some decorating for different holidays, too. Your entry looks so nice.
Hi Sally, your Easter babies are so cute! Ever since my kids grew up and left our nest, I find that I only decorate for Christmas these days. I used to go all out though. I'm glad that you are enjoying putting out your pretties and sharing them with us.
Have a wonderful week!
Sara Chapman said...
Sally, I wish there was some way you could keep the linky open a bit later. Various commitments make it very hard to sign in before 9pm Seattle time. I keep missing the cutoff! I have the posts (two of them: http://www.lovethatimage.com/blog/2011/04/view-from-the-fishing-pier/ and http://www.lovethatimage.com/blog/2011/04/sunny-beach-view/) all set up and linked but can't link up. This keeps happening and is so disappointing!
Your Easter decor things are so very sweet. Have a great week.
